Abstract
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명에 따른 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어 장치는 반도체 칩 내부에 장착되어 하프 브리지로 칩 내부 회로를 구성하는 스위칭 소자; 및 상기 반도체 칩에 설치되어 상기 스위칭 소자 동작 시 데드타임 구간을 제어하여 게이팅 신호를 송신하며, 모터와 직결되는 스위칭 소자를 구동할 수 있도록 된 데드타임 제어부;를 포함하여 전력손실을 최소화할 수 있도록 된 것을 특징으로 한다.

Claims (7)
- DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어 장치에 있어서,
반도체 칩(10) 내부에 장착되어 하프 브리지로 칩(10) 내부 회로를 구성하는 스위칭 소자;
상기 반도체 칩(10)에 설치되어 상기 스위칭 소자 동작 시 데드타임 구간을 제어하여 게이팅 신호를 송신하며, 모터(16)와 직결되는 스위칭 소자를 구동할 수 있도록 된 데드타임 제어부(20);
를 포함하고,
상기 데드타임 제어부(20)는 두 스위칭 소자 간에 데드타임을 적용하기 위해 클럭발생기(22), 분주기(23), 검출기(24), 카운터(25) 및 시간지연부(26)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어 장치.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 스위칭 소자는 한 쌍으로 동작하는 모스펫(27,28)(MOSFET)인 것을 특징으로 하는 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어 장치.

- DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어방법에 있어서,
클럭신호(40)를 발생시키는 단계;
상기 클럭신호(40)를 분주하는 단계;
분주기(23)에 입력된 클럭신호(40a)와 분주된 클럭신호(40b)의 위상차를 검출하여 업 신호 또는 다운 신호를 발생시키는 단계;
상기 업 신호 또는 다운 신호를 카운팅하여 제어 비트를 발생시키는 단계; 및
상기 제어 비트를 토대로 한 쌍으로 동작하는 두 스위칭 소자의 스위칭 전환 시 온 신호를 지연하는 방식으로 데드타임을 적용하여 상보적인 스위칭 동작이 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 단계;
를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서,
상기 업 신호를 카운팅 하는 업 카운터(25)와 다운 신호를 카운팅하는 다운 카운터(25)는 서로 대칭되게 설계되어 서로 동일한 범위에서 카운팅 될 수 있도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서,
상기 데드타임은 업 신호 또는 다운 신호의 카운팅 수에 따라 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서,
한 쌍으로 동작하는 스위치 소자 사이에 적용되는 데드타임 구간은 서로 다른 쌍으로 동작하는 스위치 소자 사이에 적용되는 데드타임 구간보다 더 짧은 시간으로 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 DC 모터용 스위칭 소자의 제어방법.
