Claims (11)
- 조대한 기공 볼륨, 미세기공 볼륨, 및 미세채널 볼륨을 포함하는 기공 구조를 갖는 다공성 세라믹 촉매 지지체를 제공하는 단계;다공성 세라믹 촉매 지지체에 액상 비이클(vehicle), 가교 촉진제, 및 열 가교성이며 열적 열분해성(thermally pyrolyzable)인 탄화수소 폴리머를 포함하는 폴리머 용액 또는 분산액을 적용하는 단계;적용된 용액 또는 분산액으로부터 비이클을 실질적으로 제거하고 탄화수소 폴리머의 가교를 일으키기에 충분한 온도까지 다공성 세라믹 촉매 지지체를 가열함으로써, 가교된 폴리머에 의하여 미세기공 볼륨 및 미세 채널 볼륨이 우세하게 차단된 폴리머-코팅 지지체를 제공하는 단계;가교된 폴리머-코팅 지지체에 수용성 워시코팅(washcoating) 또는 촉매코팅(catalyst coating)을 적용하고, 상기 촉매코팅 또는 워시코팅을 건조시켜 촉매-코팅된 또는 워시코팅된 지지체를 제공하는 단계; 및상기 촉매-코팅된 또는 워시코팅된 지지체를 적어도 가교된 폴리머 코팅을 제거하기에 충분한 온도까지 가열하여, 이로 인하여 촉매-코팅 또는 워시코팅이 조대한 기공 볼륨에 선택적으로 분산되어 있는 촉매-코팅 또는 워시코팅된 지지체를 얻는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 촉매 지지체에 촉매 또는 촉매 워시코트를 적용하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가교성 탄화수소 폴리머는 아민-관능성 아이오넨, 폴리비닐 알콜, 폴리아크릴 산, 및 폴리아크릴 아민으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 수용성 폴리머인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가교성 탄화수소 폴리머는 5,000-200,000 범위의 분자량을 갖는 아민-관능성 아이오넨 폴리머인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 가교 촉진제는 에피클로로히드린(epichlorohydrin) 및 디아민(diamine)으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소 폴리머의 가교가 일어나도록 상기 다공성 세라믹 촉매 지지체를 80-120℃ 범위의 온도로 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
