Claims (10)
- ハニカム構造体の製造方法であって、
(a)少なくとも一種類の無機粉末、水性ビヒクル、少なくとも一種類の架橋可能なバッチ成分、および該架橋可能なバッチ成分のための少なくとも一種類のバッチ架橋剤を含む粉末バッチ混合物を配合するステップ、
(b)該バッチ混合物をハニカム構造体の未焼成の多セルコアまたは外皮構成要素に形成するステップ、
(c)該未焼成のコアまたは外皮構成要素を乾燥させて、そこから水性ビヒクルを除去するステップ、および
(d)前記バッチ架橋剤を前記少なくとも一種類の架橋可能なバッチ成分と反応させるステップ、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記架橋可能なバッチ成分が、水に対して活性を有する有機化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記架橋可能なバッチ成分が、セルロース系バインダであり、前記形成ステップが、前記バッチ混合物をハニカム外皮構成要素に形成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記バッチ架橋剤が、ホルムアルデヒド、ジアルデヒド、アクリル無水物、ジイソシアネート、エピハロヒドリン、ポリアミド、ポリアクロレイン、ポリイミンおよび環状アミド架橋化合物からなる群より選ばれたものであることを特徴とする請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記バッチ架橋剤を前記少なくとも一種類の架橋可能なバッチ成分と反応させるステップが、縮合機構および開環機構のうちの少なくとも一方を介したヒドロキシル基との反応を含むことを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記形成ステップが、バッチ混合物をハニカム・コア構成要素に押出成形することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記無機粉末が、酸化物、窒化物、炭化物、珪酸塩、チタン酸塩、アルミン酸塩、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選ばれたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一種類の無機粉末、水性ビヒクル、少なくとも一種類の架橋可能なバッチ成分、および該架橋可能なバッチ成分のための少なくとも一種類のバッチ架橋剤を含むことを特徴とする無機粉末バッチ混合物。
- 少なくとも一種類の無機粉末、水性ビヒクル、少なくとも一種類の架橋可能なバッチ成分、および該架橋可能なバッチ成分のための少なくとも一種類のバッチ架橋剤の混合物からなる多セルコアまたは外皮構成要素を備えたことを特徴とする未焼成ハニカム構造体。
- 少なくとも一種類の無機粉末、水性ビヒクル、少なくとも一種類の架橋可能なバッチ成分、および該架橋可能なバッチ成分のための少なくとも一種類のバッチ架橋剤の混合物からなる乾かされた多セルコアまたは外皮構成要素を備えたことを特徴とするハニカム構造体。
