- 하기 화학식 2로 표시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향용 중합체:[화학식 2]상기 화학식 2에서,R1은 H 또는 CH3이고,R2는 -O-, -NH-, -(C=O)-O-X-O-, -(C=O)-O-X-NH-, -(C=O)-NH-X-O-, -(C=O)-NH-X-NH- 또는 -Ph-O-이며,여기서, X는 -(CH2)a- 또는 -Ph-로부터 선택되고, a는 1에서 12 사이의 정수이며, Ph는 페닐기이고,R3는 하기 화학식으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되며,R4는 -Ph-, -(C=O)-O-Y-, -(C=O)-NH-Y- 또는 직접결합이며,여기서, Y는 -(CH2)b- 또는 -Ph-이고, b는 1 내지 12의 정수이며, Ph는 페닐기이고,R5는 -OH, -NH2, -O-Z, -O-(C=O)-Z 또는 -NH-(C=O)-Z 이며,여기서 Z는 탄소 수 1에서 12 사이의 알킬기 또는 불소로 치환된 알킬기이고,n과 m은 각각 독립적으로 5 내지 500의 정수이다.
- 하기 화학식 3으로 표시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향용 중합체:[화학식 3]상기 화학식 3에서,R1은 H 또는 CH3이고,R2는 -O-, -NH-, -(C=O)-O-X-O-, -(C=O)-O-X-NH-, -(C=O)-NH-X-O-, -(C=O)-NH-X-NH- 또는 -Ph-O-이며,여기서, X는 -(CH2)a- 또는 -Ph-로부터 선택되고, a는 1에서 12 사이의 정수이며, Ph는 페닐기이고,R3는 하기 화학식으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되며,R4는 -Ph-, -(C=O)-O-Y-, -(C=O)-NH-Y- 또는 직접결합이며,여기서, Y는 -(CH2)b- 또는 -Ph-이고, b는 1 내지 12의 정수이며, Ph는 페닐기이고,R5는 -OH, -NH2, -O-Z, -O-(C=O)-Z 또는 -NH-(C=O)-Z 이며,여기서 Z는 탄소 수 1에서 12 사이의 알킬기 또는 불소로 치환된 알킬기이고,R6는 -H, -OH, -NH2, 할로겐 또는 탄소수 1 내지 12의 알킬 또는 알콕시기이며,n,m,k는 각각 독립적으로 5 내지 500의 정수이다.
- a) 청구항 1 내지 청구항 3 중 어느 한 항의 액정배향용 중합체를 용매에 용해시킨 후 기판 표면 위에 도포하여 도막을 형성하는 단계,b) 상기 도막에 포함된 용매를 건조하는 단계, 및c) 상기 건조된 도막면에 편광 자외선을 조사하여 배향 처리하는 단계를 포함하는 액정배향막의 제조방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 액정배향용 중합체의 고형분 농도는 0.5 내지 30 중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막의 제조방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 a) 단계의 용매는 시클로펜타논, 시클로헥사논, N-메틸피롤리돈, DMF(Dimethylformamide), 아세트아마이드, 감마부티로락톤 (g-butyrolactone), 2-부톡시에탄올 및 이들의 혼합물 중에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막의 제조방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 a) 단계의 용매에 에틸렌 글리콜 모노에틸 에테르 아세테이트, 에틸렌 글리콜 모노이소프로필 에테르 또는 에틸렌 글리콜 모노메틸 에테르를 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막의 제조방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 b) 단계의 건조는 50 내지 250 ℃에서 20 내지 90분 동안 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막의 제조방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 c) 단계 후 액정배향막의 두께는 30 내지 1000 ㎚인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1 내지 청구항 3 중 어느 한 항의 액정배향용 중합체를 포함하는 액정배향막.
- 청구항 10의 액정배향막을 포함하는 액정디스플레이.
