Description
Claims (17)
- 복수의 게이트선, 상기 게이트선과 교차하는 복수의 데이터선, 그리고 상기 게이트선 및 상기 데이터선에 의하여 정의되는 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시 패널을 포함하며,상기 화소는,발광 소자,상기 게이트선과 상기 데이터선에 연결되어 있으며, 상기 게이트선으로부터의 게이트 신호에 따라 상기 데이터선에 인가되어 있는 데이터 신호를 출력하는 스위칭 트랜지스터,상기 스위칭 트랜지스터와 구동 신호선에 연결되어 있으며, 상기 스위칭 트랜지스터로부터의 출력 신호와 상기 구동 신호선에 인가되는 구동 신호에 따라 출력 전류를 상기 발광 소자에 흘리는 구동 트랜지스터,상기 구동 신호선과 상기 구동 트랜지스터 사이에 연결되어 있는 제1 축전기, 그리고상기 구동 트랜지스터와 상기 발광 소자 사이에 연결되어 있는 제2 축전기를 포함하며,상기 제1 및 제2 축전기는 용량 결합(capacitive coupling)에 의하여 상기 구동 신호를 상기 구동 트랜지스터에 전달하고,상기 구동 트랜지스터는 상기 스위칭 트랜지스터에 연결되어 있는 제어 단자, 상기 구동 신호선에 연결되어 있는 입력 단자, 그리고 상기 발광 소자에 연결되어 있는 출력 단자를 포함하며,상기 제1 축전기는 상기 제어 단자와 상기 입력 단자 사이에 연결되어 있으며,상기 제2 축전기는 상기 제어 단자와 상기 출력 단자 사이에 연결되어 있는표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 표시 장치는 한 프레임을 2개 이상의 구간으로 나누고, 상기 각 구간에 대응하는 각각의 전압 레벨을 갖는 상기 구동 신호를 상기 구동 신호선에 인가하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 표시 장치는 한 프레임을 제1 내지 제3 구간으로 나누고, 상기 제1 내지 제3 구간에서 각각 제1 내지 제3 전압 레벨을 갖는 상기 구동 신호를 상기 구동 신호선에 인가하는 표시 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 표시 장치는 상기 제1 구간에서 상기 화소에 상기 데이터 신호를 기입하고, 상기 제2 구간에서 상기 데이터 신호에 기초하여 상기 발광 소자를 발광시키며, 상기 제3 구간에서 상기 구동 트랜지스터에 역바이어스를 제공하는 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,상기 제1 전압 레벨은 상기 구동 트랜지스터를 오프시키는 전압 레벨이고, 상기 제2 전압 레벨은 상기 구동 트랜지스터를 온시키는 전압 레벨이며, 상기 제3 전압 레벨은 상기 제1 전압 레벨 이하의 전압 레벨인 표시 장치.

- 제1항에서,상기 스위칭 트랜지스터 및 상기 구동 트랜지스터는 비정질 규소 박막 트랜지스터인 표시 장치.
- 발광 소자와 상기 발광 소자에 전류를 공급하는 구동 트랜지스터를 가지는 화소를 포함하는 표시 패널,한 프레임을 3개 이상의 구간으로 나누고, 상기 각 구간을 지시하는 제어 신호를 생성하는 신호 제어부, 그리고상기 신호 제어부로부터의 상기 제어 신호에 따라 상기 구동 트랜지스터에 복수의 전압 레벨을 갖는 구동 신호를 인가하는 구동 신호 생성부를 포함하며,상기 구간 중 제1 구간에서 상기 화소에 데이터 신호를 기입하고, 제2 구간에서 상기 데이터 신호에 기초하여 상기 발광 소자를 발광시키며, 제3 구간에서 상기 구동 트랜지스터에 역바이어스를 제공하고,상기 구동 신호는 상기 제1 내지 제3 구간에서 각각 제1 내지 제3 전압 레벨을 가지는표시 장치.

- 제8항에서,상기 제1 전압 레벨은 상기 구동 트랜지스터를 오프시키는 전압 레벨이고, 상기 제2 전압 레벨은 상기 구동 트랜지스터를 온시키는 전압 레벨이며, 상기 제3 전압 레벨은 상기 제1 전압 레벨 이하의 전압 레벨인 표시 장치.
