Abstract
Description
Claims (23)
- 야금 코크스의 제조 방법으로서,(ⅰ) 복수 개의 석탄 입자를 마련하는 단계와,(ⅱ) 상기 석탄 입자를 가스 플래시 건조기의 가스 스트림에 2 내지 5초 동안 노출시키고 상기 석탄을 130℃ 이하로 가열시킴으로써, 상기 석탄 입자를 불활성 분위기에서 신속하게 건조하고, 건조된 석탄 입자를 불활성 분위기에서 유지하는 단계와,(ⅲ) 상기 석탄 입자를 결합제의 추가 없이 단광으로 압축하는 단계와,(ⅳ) 상기 단광을 샤프트로(shaft furnace)에서 1 내지 5 시간 동안 1000℃ 내지 1400℃의 온도로 가열하는 단계와,(ⅴ) 야금 코크스를 수집하는 단계를 포함하는 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단광 단계(ⅲ)는 2 단계 공정으로 상기 석탄 입자를 단광으로 압축하는 단계를 포함하고, 그 제1 단계는 상기 석탄 입자를 미리 압축하는 것으로 이루어지며, 제2 단계는 상기 미리 압축된 입자를 단광으로 형성하는 것으로 이루어지고, 상기 미리 압축하는 단계는 상기 석탄 입자를 단광 구역으로 가압하는 것으로 이루어지는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 미리 압축하는 단계는 상기 입자를 예압밀(pre-compaction) 나사에서 미리 압축함으로써, 상기 입자를 압축하는 단계를 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 단광 구역은 2개의 단광용 롤 사이의 닙 구역인 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 단광용 롤에 인가되는 힘이 롤 폭의 cm 당 20 내지 80 kN이 되도록 단광용 롤에 하중을 가하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 단광용 롤에 인가되는 힘이 롤 폭의 cm 당 50 kN이 되도록 단광용 롤에 하중을 가하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단광을 지체 없이 상기 노에 직접 전달하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 단광을 서지 용기(surge bin)를 통해 상기 노에 전달하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가열 단계(ⅳ)는 상기 단광을 샤프트로 내에서 불활성 가스, 환원성 가스 또는 불활성 가스와 환원성 가스의 가스 혼합물로 이루어지는 분위기에서 가열하는 단계를 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 가스 혼합물은 질소, 수소 및 일산화탄소의 혼합물인 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.

- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 가스 혼합물은 95% 이하의 일산화탄소를 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 노에서 제조된 야금 코크스를 불활성 또는 환원성 가스 분위기에서 냉각하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 야금 코크스를 상기 노의 바닥 섹션에서 냉각하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 냉각된 야금 코크스를 상기 노의 바닥 섹션으로부터 취출함으로써 수집하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가스 스트림은 수증기, 이산화탄소, 질소 및 5% 미만의 산소를 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 석탄을 기계적 분쇄 수단으로 분쇄하여 상기 입자를 형성한 후에, 건조 단계(ⅱ)에서 상기 입자를 건조시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 석탄을 분쇄하여 직경 4 mm 미만의 입자를 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것인 야금 코크스의 제조 방법.
