Claims (11)
- 적어도 한 쌍의 기판; 및한 쌍의 기판 사이에 배치된 스멕틱 상 액정 재료를 포함하는 액정 소자에 있어서,상기 스멕틱 상 액정 재료의 분자 장축 또는 n-디렉터는 벌크 재료로서 층 법선에 대해 경사 각도를 가지며 상기 스멕틱 상 액정 재료의 분자 장축은 미리-설정한 정렬 방향에 대해 평행하게 정렬되어, 장축 층 법선을 만드는 액정 소자.
- 적어도 한 쌍의 기판; 및한 쌍의 기판들 사이에 배치된 스멕틱 상 액정 재료를 포함하는 액정 소자에 있어서,상기 스멕틱 상 액정 재료의 분자 장축 또는 n-디렉터는 벌크 재료로서 층 법선에 대해 경사 각도를 가지며, 상기 액정 소자는 최초 미리-설정된 정렬 방향을 따라 소멸 각도를 나타내는 액정 소자.
- 적어도 한 쌍의 기판; 및한 쌍의 기판들 사이에 배치된 스멕틱 상 액정 재료를 포함하며,분자 장축을 따라가는 상기 스멕틱 상 액정 재료는 벌크 재료로서 층 법선에 대해 경사 각도를 가지며,스멕틱 층 액정 소자 재료의 분자 장축은 미리 설정된 정렬 방향에 평행하게 배열되어 분자 장축이 층에 대해 수직이게 하는 액정 소자.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 스멕틱 액정 재료는 스멕틱 C 상 재료, 스멕틱 I 상 재료, 스멕틱 H 상 재료, 키랄성 스멕틱 C 상 재료, 키랄성 스멕틱 I 상 재료, 키랄성 스멕틱 H 상 재료로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 액정 소자.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 기판의 표면은 충전된 액정 재료에 대해 5도 이하의 선경사 각도를 갖는 액정 소자.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 기판의 표면은 스멕틱 액정 재료가 미리 설정된 정렬 방향에 대해 평행하게 정렬시켜 분자 장축이 이의 층에 대해 수직이 되게 하는 충분히 강한 방위 배향 규제력을 가지며, 상기 방위 배향 규제력은 폴리머 층의 기계적 버핑에 의해 제 공되는 액정 소자.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 기판의 표면은 스멕틱 액정 재료가 미리 설정된 정렬 방향에 대해 평행하게 정렬시켜 분자 장축이 이의 층에 대해 수직이 되게 하는 충분히 강한 방위 배향 규제력을 가지며, 상기 방위 배향 규제력은 상부 표면이 편광 UV광에 의해 노출된 폴리머 층에 의해 제공되는 액정 소자.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 기판의 표면은 스멕틱 액정 재료가 미리 설정된 정렬 방향에 대해 평행하게 정렬시켜 분자 장축이 이의 층에 대해 수직이 되게 하는 충분히 강한 방위 배향 규제력을 가지며, 상기 방위 배향 규제력은 금속 산화물 재료의 경사 증착에 의해 제공되는 액정 소자.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 경사 증착 각도는 70도인 액정 소자.
- 제 9 항 또는 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 증착된 금속 산화물 재료는 SiO2, ZrO, Ta2O5, Cr2O3로 이루어진 그룹으 로부터 선택되는 액정 소자.
