- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피코팅물은 하기 화학식 (1) 내지 (9)로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 리튬 화합물인 양극 활물질:LixCo1-yMyA2(1)LixCo1-yMyO2-zXz(2)LixNi1-yMyA2(3)LixNi1-yMyO2-zXz(4)LixNi1-yCoyO2-zXz(5)LixNi1-y-zCoyM'zAα(6)LixNi1-y-zCoyM'zO2-αXα(7)LixNi1-y-zMnyM'zAα(8)LixNi1-y-zMnyM'zO2-αXα(9)상기 식 (1) 내지 (9)에서, 0.95 ≤x ≤1.1, 0 ≤y ≤0.5, 0 ≤z ≤0.5, 0 ≤α≤2이고, M'는 Al, Ni, Co, Mn, Cr, Fe, Mg, Sr, V 및 희토류 원소로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소이며, A는 O, F, S 및 P로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소이고, X는 F, S 및 P로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소임.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 Mn계 활물질은 하기 화학식 (10) 내지 (13)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 리튬 화합물인 양극 활물질:LixMn1-yMyA2(10)LixMn1-yMyO2-zXz(11)LixMn2O4-zXz(12)LixMn2-yM'yA4(13)상기 식에서, 0.95 ≤x ≤1.1, 0 ≤y ≤0.5, 0 ≤z ≤0.5, 0 ≤α≤2이고, M'는 Al, Ni, Co, Mn, Cr, Fe, Mg, Sr, V 및 희토류 원소로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소이며, A는 O, F, S 및 P로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소이고, X는 F, S 및 P로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 원소임.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전도성 고분자 분산제는 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드, 폴리프로필렌 옥사이드, 에틸렌 옥사이드(EO)와 프로필렌 옥사이드(PO)를 포함하는 (EO)l(PO)m(EO)l(l 및 m은 1 내지 500의 범위에 있음.) 블록 코폴리머, 폴리비닐클로라이드(PVC), 아크릴로니트릴/부타디엔/스티렌(ABS) 폴리머, 아크릴로니트릴/스티렌/아크릴에스테르(ASA) 폴리머, 아크릴로니트릴/스티렌/아크릴에스테르(ASA) 폴리머와 프로필렌 카보네이트의 혼합물, 스티렌/아크릴로니트릴(SAN) 코폴리머, 및 메틸메타크릴레이트/아크릴로니트릴/부타디엔/스티렌(MABS) 폴리머로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나인 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피코팅물인 Co계 또는 Ni계 활물질의 양은 70 내지 99 중량%이고, 코팅물인 Mn계 활물질 또는 Mn계 활물질 또는 전도성 고분자 분산제의 혼합물의 양은 1 내지 30 중량%인 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 피코팅물인 Co계 활물질이나 Ni계 활물질과 코팅물인 Mn계 활물질의 평균 입경비는 10:10-3내지 10:1인 양극 활물질.
- a) Mn계 활물질과 분산제를 용매에 첨가하여 분산 코팅액을 제조한 후 pH를 중성으로 조정하는 단계;b) Co계 활물질 또는 Ni계 활물질을 계면활성제 현탁액에 첨가하여 계면활성제가 코팅된 활물질 현탁액을 제조하는 단계;c) 상기 a) 단계의 분산 코팅액과 b) 단계의 현탁액을 혼합한 후 pH를 1-6으로 조정하는 단계; 및d) Mn계 활물질이 코팅된 Co계 활물질 또는 Ni계 활물질을 회수하여 열처리하는 단계를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 계면활성제가 비이온성, 양이온성 또는 음이온성 계면활성제인 제조방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 계면활성제는 설포네이트(RSO3 -), 설페이트(RSO4 -), 카르복실레이트(RCOO-), 포스페이트(RPO4 -), 암모늄(RxHyN+: x는 1-3이고 y는 3-1임), 4차 암모늄(R4N+), 베타인(Betaines; RN+(CH3)2CH2COO-), 설포베타인(Sulfobetaines; RN+(CH3)2CH2SO3 -), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드(R-OCH2CH2(OCH2CH2)nOH), 아민 화합물, 및 젤라틴(상기 식에서 R은 포화 또는 불포화 탄화수소기)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것인 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 계면활성제의 함량은 Mn계 활물질을 기준으로 0.1 내지 20 중량%인 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 열처리 온도는 200 내지 600℃인 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 열처리 시간은 1 내지 20 시간인 제조방법.
- a) Mn계 활물질 및 전도성 고분자 분산제를 용매에 첨가하여 분산 코팅액을 제조하는 단계;b) 상기 분산 코팅액에 Co계 또는 Ni계 활물질을 첨가하여 Mn계 활물질과 전도성 고분자 분산제를 코팅하는 단계; 및c) Co계 또는 Ni계 활물질의 표면에 Mn계 활물질과 전도성 고분자 분산제 코팅된 활물질을 건조하는 단계를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 전도성 고분자 분산제는 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드, 폴리프로필렌 옥사이드, 에틸렌 옥사이드(EO)와 프로필렌 옥사이드(PO)를 포함하는 (EO)l(PO)m(EO)l(l 및 m은 1 내지 500의 범위에 있음.) 블록 코폴리머, 폴리비닐클로라이드(PVC), 아크릴로니트릴/부타디엔/스티렌(ABS) 폴리머, 아크릴로니트릴/스티렌/아크릴에스테르(ASA) 폴리머, 아크릴로니트릴/스티렌/아크릴에스테르(ASA) 폴리머와 프로필렌 카보네이트의 혼합물, 스티렌/아크릴로니트릴(SAN) 코폴리머, 및 메틸메타크릴레이트/아크릴로니트릴/부타디엔/스티렌(MABS) 폴리머로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 하나인 제조방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 전도성 고분자 분산제의 함량은 Mn계 활물질을 기준으로 0.1 내지 20 중량%인 제조방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 건조 온도는 100℃ 이하인 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 하나의 양극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제7항 내지 제16항 중 어느 하나의 항에 따라 제조되는 양극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지.
