- 액정 표시장치에 있어서,액정 표시패널과, 데이터 화면과 블랙 화면을 상기 액정 표시패널의 화면의 적어도 일부에서 교대로 반복하여 표시하기 위해 상기 액정 표시패널을 구동하는 구동회로를 포함하고, 각각의 프레임에서의 화면은 데이터 화면부 또는 블랙 화면부를 각각 포함하는 상하 2 이상의 화면영역으로 분할되고, 상기 데이터 화면부 및 상기 블랙 화면부가 상호 교대되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 구동회로는 상기 화면영역의 하나에 각각 대응하는 2 이상의 주사선 구동회로와 상기 주사선 구동회로를 제어하는 제어회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 구동회로는 상기 데이터 드라이버에 인가된 셋트 펄스에 따라 임의의 소요 시간 주기에서 블랙 화면 데이터를 발생하는 데이터 셋팅회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.

- 제 28 항에 있어서,한 화면에서, 블랙 화면 표시 및 데이터 화면 표시가 픽셀마다 전환되고, 상기 화면 다음 화면으로, 상기 블랙 화면 표시 및 상기 데이터 화면 표시가 교환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 28 항에 있어서,상기 액정 표시패널에 대한 구동신호는 2n(n=1, 2, 3, ...) 프레임마다 반전되고 또한 상기 구동회로의 극성은 3개의 데이터선마다 반전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치의 구동방법.
