Claims (8)
- 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이에 있어서,2개의 기판, 및상기 2개의 기판들 사이에 제공된 액정층을 포함하고,상기 액정층 내의 액정 재료의 굴절률 이방성 △n과 상기 액정층의 두께 d의 적 △n·d 은 0.12 내지 0.18 ㎛ 이고,하프톤의 백색이 표시되고 70도의 시각으로 액정 디스플레이 패널을 볼 때, CIE 색도도의 x 좌표 및 y 좌표는 모든 방위각에 대해 0.35 또는 그 이하인액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
- 청구항2는 삭제 되었습니다.
- 제1항에 있어서,하프톤의 백색이 표시되고 70도의 시각으로 액정 디스플레이 패널을 볼 때, 상기 CIE 색도도의 x 좌표 및 y 좌표는 모든 방위각에 대해 0.2 내지 0.35 인 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 굴절률 이방성 △n은 0.04 내지 0.07인 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액정층의 두께는 2 내지 2.5 ㎛인 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액정 디스플레이 패널은, 상기 액정층에 상기 2개의 기판과 평행하게 전계를 인가하는 데 사용되는 적어도 2개의 전극을 구비하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 액정 디스플레이 패널은,상기 액정층에 상기 2개의 기판과 평행하게 전계를 인가하는 전압 인가 수단; 및각각의 디스플레이 화소마다 상기 전계의 온/오프를 제어하는 제어 소자를 포함하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 액정 디스플레이 패널은,매트릭스 형태로 배치된 복수의 디스플레이 화소;상기 디스플레이 화소에 접속된 주사선 및 신호선; 및상기 주사선의 전위를 제어하는 제어기를 구비하며,상기 2개의 기판 중 하나의 기판은,투명 기판;상기 각각의 디스플레이 화소마다 상기 투명 기판 상에 제공되며, 상기 신호선에 접속되어 있는 화소 전극;상기 투명기판 상에, 상기 디스플레이 화소 각각에 공통으로 제공된 공통 전극 - 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극은 상기 액정층에 대하여 실질적으로 상기 투명 기판의 표면과 평행한 성분의 전계를 인가하도록 배치됨 - ;상기 투명 기판 상에 제공되어 상기 주사선에 접속되며, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 신호선 사이의 온/오프를 전환시키는 스위칭 소자; 및상기 투명 기판 상에 제공된 배향막을 포함하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 디스플레이.
