Claims (6)
- 수직 교차되는 복수의 게이트 라인, 데이타 라인들을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서, 복수개의 리페어 라인들이 상기의 게이트 라인과 데이타 라인이 수직 교차하는 부분에 구성되는 픽셀들로 이루어진 디스플레이부의 주변부에 서로 분리되어 서로 겹쳐지게 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 구조.
- 제1항에 있어서, 리페어 라인들은 게이트 라인들의 신호가 입출력되는 부분에서 겹쳐지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 구조.
- 제1항에 있어서, 리페어 라인들은 데이타 라인들의 신호가 입출력되는 부분에서 겹쳐지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 구조.
- 제1항에 있어서, 리페어 라인들은 디스플레이부의 어느 한 방향을 제외한 모든 방향에서 겹쳐지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 구조.
- 디스플레이부 및 상기 디스플레이부의 주변부에 형성된 하나 이상의 리페어 라인을 포함하는 액정 표시 소자의 리페어 공정에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이부에서 서로 수직 교차하는 복수개의 게이트 라인, 데이터 라인의 어느 하나 또는 그 이상의 라인에서 불량이 발생하였을 경우에 레이저를 사용하여 그 라인과 리페어 라인이 교차하는 부분의 절연막을 파괴하고 그 신호 라인을 녹여서 리페어 라인에 연결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 게이트 라인과 데이터 라인을 리페어 라인과 교차하는 부분에서는 디스플레이부에서 보다 너비가 크게 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 리페어 방법.
