Claims (14)
- 디젤엔진 등 내연기관으로부터 배출되는 폐가스로부터 유해성분을 제거하기 위해 금속와이어가 포함된 와이어섬유층으로 되는 하나이상의 층을 가진 편직물과 소결재로 구성되는 필터 또는 촉매체에 있어서, 상기 소결재는 분상, 입상, 섬유상편, 섬유상칩의 형태로 되어 그물눈(mesh)속으로 들어가서 와이어섬유(2, 3)위에서 소결되며, 상기 편직물(woven fabric)은 능직의 와이어편직물(twilled wire fabric)(1)형태로 되고,상기 소결재(4)는 그물눈(5)속으로 들어가서 와이어섬유(2, 3)와 같이 소걸되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체(filter or catalyst body).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 편직물(1)은 4-샤프트 또는 5-샤프트의 능직으로 된 와이어섬유체(twilled wire fabric)로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소결재는 세라믹, 플라스틱, 금속, 특히 강철 또는 강철합금이거나 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 와이어섬유(2, 3)는 날실 및 씨실방향으로 동일직경을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편직물은 그물눈폭과 와이어 직경의 상대적 비율이 대략 1 : 1에 가깝게 되도록 하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 그물눈의 폭 또는 와이어 직경은 모두 0.15∼0.30㎜, 통상 0.20㎜로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항, 제2항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 편직물(1)은 이 편직물의 두께가 편직물의 와이어섬유(2, 3)직경의 대략 2.5배가 되도록 약간 휘어 구부러져 있게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 와이어섬유는 대략 20% 닉켈, 25% 크롬을 함유하는 강철와이어로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편직물(1)은 일측으로는 평활한 표면을,다른측으로는 거친 표면을 가지도륵 설계되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편직물(1)은 다층으로 서로 결합되어 하나의 몸체를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편직물의 제1층은 그 외부가 거친 표면을 가지도록 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편직물(1)은 폐가스성분, 특히 매연 또는 검댕이의 점화온도를 낮추는 촉매로 입구단부(feed end)에서 피복되어 있는 것을 특징으로하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편직물(1)은 일산화탄소, 이산화탄소, 탄화물, 질소산화물과 같은 유해성분을 제거하기 위하여 촉매코팅을 가진 출구로 구비하는것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체.
- 디젤엔진 등의 내연기관에서 배출되는 폐가스로부터 유해성분을 제거하기 위하여 금속와이어섬유층을 하나 이상의 섬유층으로 하고 분상, 입상, 섬유핀상, 섬유집상으로되는 소결재를 그물눈속으로 넣으며, 다음 상술한 특허청구범위 제1항 내지 제13항에 기숙된 와이어 또는 섬유직물을 동시에 소결하므로써 필터 또는 촉매체를 제조하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 소결재(4)는 바인더(binder)롤 거쳐 능직으로 짠 와이어섬유직물(twi1led wire fabric)의 형태로 그물눈(5)속에 넣어지고 그 후에 상기 와이어섬유(2, 3) 및 소결재(4)가 같이 소결되도륵 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터 또는 촉매체의 제조방법.
