Description
Claims (20)
- 연소기관에서 배출된 배기가스의 후처리를 위한 장치로서, 배기가스 스트림이 중공의 비드로 채워진 영역(3)을 지나가고, 그 후에 입자 여과기로서 금속 섬유로 채워진 영역(5)을 지나가게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연소기관에서 배출된 배기가스의 후처리를 위한 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 중공의 비드는 금속으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 중공의 비드는 다공질인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 비드의 직경은 배기가스의 유동방향으로 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 비드는 서로 점 접촉하는 방식으로 소결된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 금속 섬유로 채워진 영역(5)은 배기가스의 유동방향으로 상이한 공극율 및/또는 공극 사이즈 분포를 가진 적층구조로 된 적어도 두개의 소영역으로 나누어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 공극율은 배기가스의 유동방향으로 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 70 내지 95% 사이의 범위의 공극율이 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 비드 및/또는 금속 섬유의 표면은 촉매 작용 물질로 코팅되거나 도포되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 중공의 비드로 채워진 영역(3)은 연소기관으로부터 배기가스 출구에 가까이 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 중공의 비드로 채워진 영역(3)은 연소기관의 배출 매니폴드에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 중공의 비드로 채워진 영역(3)과 금속 섬유로 채워진 영역(5)의 사이에 공동부(4)가 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 배기가스가 영역(3, 4, 5)을 통하여 지나가게 되는 자유 단면은 배기관의 자유 단면에 비하여 증가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 비드와 금속 섬유는 철-크롬-니켈 합금, 니켈 베이스 합금, 철-크롬-알루미늄 합금 또는 알루미늄 합금 또는 그들의 조합으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치
- 배기가스가 배기가스의 유동, 입자응집, 및/또는 배기가스의 촉매 후처리에 영향을 미치기 위하여 중공의 비드로 채워진 영역(3)을 통과하여 지나가고, 비드로 채워진 영역(3)에 뒤이어 배기가스로부터 입자를 여과 및/또는 배기가스의 촉매 후처리를 수행하기 위해서, 배기가스가 금속 섬유로 채워진 영역(5)을 통과하여 지나가게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연소기관에서 배출되는 배기가스를 후처리하기 위한 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 중공의 비드로 채워진 영역(3)을 지나는 동안 응집된 입자는 금속 섬유로 채워진 영역(5)에서 배기가스 스트림으로부터 분리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 금속 섬유로 채워지고 그리고 상이한 공극율을 가진 소영역(5', 5'', 5''')으로 나누어지는 영역(5)에서 입자는 단계적인 형태로 여과되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
