Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of ductility and toughness and to improve the capacity of joint, by providing the middle layer of Cr-Ni base stainless steel which is specified by the component ratio, between each welding part of base material and combined material of stainless clad steel.
CONSTITUTION: V-shaped groove having a projection, is provided with the combined material 1 making the side of the base material 2 of stainless clad steel for the groove opening part. At first, only the material 1 is welded and one layer or more of the middle layer 5 are welded on the weld metal 4 by the welding materials chemically composed of ≤0.15% C, ≤1.0% Si, ≤2.0% Mn, ≤12% Cr, ≤12% Ni, by wt%, residual Fe and impurity elements. Next, the material 2 is welded on the layer 5 by the weld metal 3 which is equal or more of the material 2. Further, the reason why the component of the layer 5 is specified, is that the ductility and toughness are lowered when the chemical component exceeds a specified value.
