Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は自動車座席のシートクツシヨン座面の傾き調整
と座席の高さ調整とを可能にするのに利用される。
従来の技術 現在用いられている自動車用座席は、第６図に示す如
く、ロアブラケツト１にシートクツシヨン２を支持さ
せ、ロアブラケツト１に連結させたアツパブラケツト３
にシートバツク４を支持させる構成となつている。５は
ヘツドレストを示す。尚、ロアブラケツト１はフロア側
の部材６に取付けられる。
この種の座席は、シートクツシヨン２の座面の傾きを変
えるため、点線で示す位置にシートクツシヨン２を移動
させたり、又、図示していないがシートバツクの傾きを
変え、シートリクライニングを可能にさせている。しか
し、第６図に示す座席では、点線に示す位置にシートク
ツシヨン２を移動させても、乗員の目の位置にほとんど
変化はない。そのため、体格に応じて目の位置を調整で
きるようシートクツシヨン２の高さ調整が望まれ、実開
昭60-16622号公報に示す如く、シートクツシヨン２の高
さ調整装置が開発されている。
本発明が解決しようとする問題点 シートクツシヨンを上下動させ、フロアに対する高さを
変えることは、確かに、乗員の目の位置を好ましい位置
とさせ得るが、しかし、シートクツシヨンの調整の都
度、背当り感が変り、異和感を乗員に与える。又、シー
トクツシヨンのシートバツクへの当りにより、シートク
ツシヨンの高さ調整のための操作力が著しく大きくな
る。
それ故に、本発明は、前述した不具合を解消させること
を解決すべき問題点とする。
問題点を解決するための手段 本発明は、問題点を解決するため、第５図に示す如く、
シートクツシヨン２の座面の傾き調整に加えて、ロアブ
ラケツト１をフロアに対して昇降可能とさせることで、
シートクツシヨンとシートバツク４とをその相対関係を
変えることなく上下動可能とする考えを導入する。より
具体的には、フロア側部材６とロアブラケツト１とをリ
ンクで連結し、該リンクをフロア側部材６に対して回動
させる技術的手段を用いる。
作用 フロア側部材とロアブラケツトとを連結するリンクをフ
ロア側部材に対して回動させると、リンクとロアブラケ
ツトとの枢支点の位置が変り、ロアブラケツトをフロア
に対し上下動させることができる。たとえば、リンクを
起すと、ロアブラケツトが上昇し、該ロアブラケツトに
連結されたアツパブラケツトも同じ量だけ上昇する。か
くして、シートクツシヨンとシートバツクは第５図に点
線で示す位置へ移動する。
実施例 第１−３図を参照する。フロア側部材６をアツパレール
とロアレールとの組合せとし、座席の前後方向の移動を
可能にする。シートクツシヨン２を支持するアツパブラ
ケツト１は、対の離間したフロア側部材６に、夫々、前
後に離間したリンク７、７′を用いて連結される。一方
のリンク７はベルクランク状をなし、その一端がロアブ
ラケツト１に固定されたスプリングカツプラ８の出力部
のカム板９アーム13を介して接続させる。他方のリンク
７′は、直接、ロアブラケツト１に枢支させる。リンク
７はロツド10を介して連結され、該ロツド10の両端をロ
アブラケツト１に軸支させる。11はロアブラケツト１の
上向きの動きを附勢するトーシヨンスプリングである。
スプリングカツプラ８の構成は公知であり、又、市販の
スプリングカツプラ８を用いればよいので、ここでは、
その構成の説明を省略する。スプリングカツプラ８の入
力部にレバー12を結合させる。
別のスプリングカツプラ14をロアブラケツト１に取付
け、その出力部にギヤ15を固定する。ギヤはセクタギヤ
16に噛合い、このセクタギヤ16をシートクツシヨン２に
リンク17を介して結合させる。尚、シートクツシヨン２
は穴18を利用して、ロアブラケツト１に枢支される。セ
クタギヤ16の動きはロツド19を用いて他方のリンク17′
に伝達される。スプリングカツプラ14の入力部はダイア
ル20に固定される。かくして、ダイアル20の回転は、ス
プリングカツプラ14を介してギヤ15を回転させ、セクタ
ギヤ16を、その両端がロアブラケツト１に軸支されたロ
ツド19の軸心を中心とする回動をなし、両リンク17、1
7′を昇降させ、シートクツシヨン２を枢支点18を中心
として回動させることになる。この結果、シートクツシ
ヨン２の座面の傾きが調整される。
次に、レバー12を引き起し、スプリングカツプラ８を介
してカム板９を矢印Ａ（第２図）の如く回転させると、
アーム13とリンク７との連結部が矢印Ｂ方向に動き、こ
の動きは、リンク７を、リンク７とロアブラケツト１と
の枢着点を中心に矢印Ｃ方向へと回動させることにな
る。リンク７の回動は、ロツド10を介して他方のリンク
７′に伝達され、ロアブラケツト１を、スプリング11の
助勢力を受けながら、持上げることになる。結局、第５
図に示す如く、シートクツシヨン２とシートバツク４と
が点線で示す新しい位置へ移動することになる。シート
クツシヨン２を下げるには、レバー12を下げれば、前述
した動きとは逆の動きにより、可能となる。
第４図に本発明の別の例を示す。本例中、第１−３図に
示した例と同一構成には同一符号を記し、その説明を省
略する。スプリングカツプラ８の出力部にギヤ21を固定
し、このギヤ21をロツド10に固定されたセクタギヤ22に
噛合せる。セクタギヤ22の他端は、フロア側部材６に枢
支させる。第４図に示す例は、第１図の例のカム板９に
代えてギヤ21を用い、又、リンク７に代えてリンクの働
きをするセクタギヤ22を用いたもので、その作用は第１
図の例と全く同じなのでその説明を省略する。
効果 本発明では、シートクツシヨンの座面の傾き調整とは独
立した形で、シートクツシヨンとシートバツクの高さを
独自に調整できることから、乗員にとつて最つとも好適
な座席での姿勢が得られる。
本発明は、前述した二つの機能をなす部材をロアブラケ
ツトに装着するという新たな手段を開発したので、占有
スペースの低減、フロア側部へのロアブラケツトへの取
付を容易にさせ得るという効果を奏する。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】自動車のフロア側部材に後方リンクを介し
    て支持されたシートクツシヨン用ロアブラケツト、該ロ
    アブラケツトに連結されたシートバツク用アツパブラケ
    ツト、シートクツシヨン座面を傾斜させる装置、前記フ
    ロア側部材に枢支された前記リンクを回動させ前記ロア
    ブラケツトと自動車のフロアとの間隔を調整させる装置
    とを有し、前記座面傾斜装置が一端が前記ロアブラケツ
    トに枢支されかつ他端の歯部が該ロアブラケツトに支持
    されたスプリングカツプラの出力部のギヤと噛合うセク
    タギヤと、および該セクタギヤに一端が枢支されかつ他
    端がシートクツシヨン側に支持される先端リンクとから
    なり、前記間隔調整装置が一端が前記ロアブラケツトに
    枢支されかつ他端の歯部が前記ロアブラケツトに支持さ
    れたスプリングカツプラの出力部のギヤと噛合うベルク
    ランク状のセクタギヤと、および一端が該セクタギヤに
    結合されかつ他端が前記フロア側部材に支持された前方
    リンクとからなる自動車座席の高さ調整装置。
