Description
Claims (11)
- バランシング装置であって、
補助バッテリーの電圧から第1ハイレベル電圧を選択的に生成するように構成される電圧レギュレータと、
第1電流端子、第2電流端子及び制御端子を含み、前記第1電流端子は、バッテリーグループの高電圧端子に電気的に接続する電源スイッチと、
電圧入力端子及び電圧出力端子を含み、前記電圧入力端子に印加される電圧から第2ハイレベル電圧を生成し、前記第2ハイレベル電圧を前記電圧出力端子に出力するように構成され、前記電圧入力端子は、前記第2電流端子に電気的に接続するDC-DCコンバータと、
前記バッテリーグループに含まれた複数のバッテリーセルに並列接続する複数のバランシング回路を有するバランシング部と、
電源端子、ホールド端子及び複数のバランシング端子を含み、前記電源端子は前記電圧出力端子に電気的に接続し、前記ホールド端子は前記制御端子に電気的に接続し、前記複数のバランシング端子は前記複数のバランシング回路に電気的に接続する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記ホールド端子と接地との間に接続するホールドキャパシタを有し、
前記第1ハイレベル電圧は、前記制御端子および前記ホールド端子に印加され、
前記制御部は、前記電源端子に前記第2ハイレベル電圧が印加されることに応じて、前記ホールド端子を介して前記ホールドキャパシタに前記第1ハイレベル電圧を印加して充電することにより、前記第1ハイレベル電圧をホールドするように構成される、バランシング装置。 - 前記複数のバランシング回路は、それぞれ、相互に直列接続する抵抗素子及びバランシングスイッチを含み、
前記バランシングスイッチは、前記複数のバランシング端子のそれぞれに電気的に接続する、請求項1に記載のバランシング装置。 - 前記制御部は、マスターコントローラからセル識別番号及びバランシング必要期間を示す情報を含むバランシング要求メッセージを受信したとき、前記複数のバッテリーセルのうちセル識別情報に対応するいずれか一つのバッテリーセルをバランシングターゲットとして設定するように構成され、
前記制御部は、前記電源端子に前記第2ハイレベル電圧が印加される間、前記複数のバランシング回路のうち前記バランシングターゲットに並列接続したバランシング回路の前記バランシングスイッチをオン状態に制御するように構成される、請求項2に記載のバランシング装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記バランシングターゲットに並列接続した前記バランシング回路の前記バランシングスイッチがオン状態に制御された期間をカウントするように構成され、
前記制御部は、前記カウントされた期間が前記バランシング必要期間に到達した場合、前記第1ハイレベル電圧のホールドを中断するように構成される、請求項3に記載のバランシング装置。 - 前記マスターコントローラと前記制御部とを両方向通信可能に接続するように構成される通信回路をさらに含む、請求項3または4に記載のバランシング装置。
- 前記電源スイッチは、前記制御端子に前記第1ハイレベル電圧が印加される場合、オン状態になり、
前記電源スイッチがオン状態にある間に、前記電源端子に前記第2ハイレベル電圧が印加される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバランシング装置。 - 前記電源スイッチは、前記第1電流端子としてのソース、前記第2電流端子としてのドレイン及び前記制御端子としてのゲートを含むn-チャンネルMOSFETである、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバランシング装置。
- 前記制御部は、
前記ホールドキャパシタに並列接続するホールドスイッチをさらに含み、
前記制御部は、前記電源端子に前記第2ハイレベル電圧が印加されることに応じて、前記ホールドスイッチをオフ状態に制御するように構成される、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のバランシング装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記高電圧端子に電気的に接続するディスエーブル端子をさらに含み、
前記制御部は、前記ディスエーブル端子に印加される電圧が臨界電圧よりも低い場合、前記ホールドスイッチをオン状態に制御するように構成される、請求項8に記載のバランシング装置。 - 請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバランシング装置を含む、バッテリー管理システム。
- 請求項10に記載のバッテリー管理システムを含む、バッテリーパック。
