Claims (7)
- エンジンの燃焼室から引き出された排気通路と、
前記排気通路に排気ガスの流れ方向に沿って並列して設けられ前記排気通路内の排気ガスを浄化する上流側排気浄化部及び下流側排気浄化部と、
を備え、
前記上流側排気浄化部は、
排気ガス中の窒素酸化物を還元する機能を有する窒素酸化物還元部を有し、
前記下流側排気浄化部は、
前記排気ガス中の成分を少なくとも酸化する機能を有する第一浄化部と、
前記第一浄化部で酸化されたガスを、吸蔵したアンモニアを用いて還元して浄化する機
能を有する第二浄化部と、を有し、
前記第一浄化部は、前記排気通路内に配置された担体の外面を覆う下層として形成され、
前記第二浄化部は、前記第一浄化部の外面を覆う上層として形成される重ね合わせ配置
部を含むと共に前記第一浄化部よりも下流側で前記担体の外面を覆って形成される単独配置部を含んでいる
エンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 前記重ね合わせ配置部は、前記重ね合わせ配置部の活性化温度を所定の第一活性化温度とする上流側高温浄化部を含んでおり、
前記単独配置部は、前記単独配置部の活性化温度が前記第一活性化温度よりも低い第二活性化温度とする下流側低温浄化部を含んでいる
請求項1に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 前記単独配置部は、前記単独配置部の活性化温度が前記第二活性化温度よりも高い第三活性化温度とする下流側高温浄化部を前記下流側低温浄化部の下層に備えている
請求項2に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 前記第一活性化温度と前記第三活性化温度は同じ温度である
請求項3に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 前記第一浄化部は三元触媒層で構成され、
前記第二浄化部は選択還元触媒層で構成される
請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 前記第一浄化部は前記上流側排気浄化部と前記下流側排気浄化部に備えられ、
前記第二浄化部は前記下流側排気浄化部のみに備えられる
請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 前記第二浄化部の上流側にアンモニアの流入量の情報を取得するアンモニア検出部を備え、
前記第二浄化部の下流側に窒素酸化物の排出量の情報を取得する窒素酸化物検出部を備え、
前記アンモニアの流入量の情報と前記窒素酸化物の排出量の情報に基づいて、前記燃焼室に供給される燃料の噴射量及び吸気の量を制御するエンジン制御装置を備える
請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
