Claims (6)
- 駆動信号によりアクチュエータを駆動し、複数のノズルに連通し、インクが格納された複数の圧力室に圧力を印加することで前記複数のノズルよりインク滴を吐出させる記録ヘッドを搭載し、前記駆動信号を用いて液滴を吐出可能な液滴吐出装置であって、
前記駆動信号は、少なくとも液滴を吐出させる第1収縮波形要素と、該第1収縮波形要素印加後さらに液室を収縮させ、液滴を吐出しない第2収縮波形要素を具備し、環境温度が高温時に、前記第2収縮波形要素の印加タイミングを前記第1収縮波形要素によって発生した圧力波の制振タイミングで、環境温度が低温時に、前記第2収縮波形要素の印加タイミングを前記第1収縮波形要素によって発生した圧力波の共振タイミングになるよう設定したことを特徴とする液滴吐出装置。 - さらに、前記駆動信号は前記第2収縮波形要素の後で、前記第1収縮波形要素によって発生した圧力波の制振タイミングで印加される膨張波形要素を具備したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の液滴吐出装置。
- 前記第2収縮波形要素の印加タイミングは、温度又は粘度変化に対し連続的に変化させることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液滴吐出装置。
- 前記第2収縮波形要素の波高値が、環境温度によらず一定であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の液滴吐出装置。
- 前記インクの粘度が、5〜20mPasの範囲で使用されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の液滴吐出装置。
- 駆動信号によりアクチュエータを駆動し、複数のノズルに連通し、インクが格納された複数の圧力室に圧力を印加することで前記複数のノズルよりインク滴を吐出させる記録ヘッドを搭載し、前記駆動信号を用いて液滴を吐出可能な液滴吐出装置の駆動方法であって、
前記駆動信号は、少なくとも液滴を吐出させる第1収縮波形要素を印加するステップと、該第1収縮波形要素印加後さらに液室を収縮させ、液滴を吐出しない第2収縮波形要素を印加するステップとを有し、
環境温度が高温時に、前記第2収縮波形要素の印加タイミングを前記第1収縮波形要素によって発生した圧力波の制振タイミングで、環境温度が低温時に、前記第2収縮波形要素の印加タイミングを前記第1収縮波形要素によって発生した圧力波の共振タイミングになるようにしたステップを有することを特徴とする液滴吐出装置の駆動方法。
