Description
Claims (8)
- 液晶と、
薄膜トランジスタ及び複数の配線を含み、前記複数の配線は金属からなる回路層と、
前記液晶を横電界駆動方式で駆動するために、前記液晶と前記回路層の間で絶縁膜を介して積層された、それぞれ透明導電膜からなる画素電極及び共通電極と、
異なる色の複数の着色層を含み、各着色層の光透過率がそれぞれ異なるカラーフィルタと、
接続配線と、
を有し、
前記複数の配線は、前記複数の着色層のうち前記光透過率が最も高い前記着色層と対向することを避けて他のいずれかの前記着色層と対向するように配置されている共通配線を含み、
前記接続配線は、前記共通電極と前記共通配線を接続することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記薄膜トランジスタは、ゲート電極、ソース電極及びドレイン電極を有し、
前記共通電極の一部及び前記共通配線の一部は、それぞれ、前記ゲート電極の上方に位置し、
前記接続配線の前記共通電極との接続部及び前記接続配線の前記共通配線との接続部は、それぞれ、前記ゲート電極の上方に位置することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項2に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記回路層は、半導体層を含み、
前記ソース電極、前記ドレイン電極及び前記共通配線は、それぞれ、前記半導体層上に接触するように形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記絶縁膜の前記液晶側に前記画素電極が配置され、
前記接続配線は、前記透明電極膜からなり、前記絶縁膜上で前記画素電極と並ぶ部分と、前記絶縁膜を貫通して前記共通電極に接続する部分とを有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記複数の着色層は、赤色の着色層を含み、
前記共通配線は、前記赤色の着色層に対向するように配置されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項2に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記共通配線は、前記ゲート電極が形成される方向と直交する方向に沿って形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記複数の着色層は、青色の着色層を含み、
前記青色の着色層は、他の着色層よりも厚く形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項7に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記青色の着色層に対応するゲート電極の上方には、台座電極が形成されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
