Description
本願は、2005年11月24日に出願された米国仮特許出願第60/631,015号の利益を要求し、その開示内容は引用することを持って、本願への記載加入とする。
1つの態様では、本発明は、少なくとも1つの加圧機構、及び該少なくとも1つの加圧機構に作動的に繋がる少なくとも1つの第1の流体コンテナ(例えば、シリンジ又はバルクコンテナ)を含む流体注入器具を提供する。第1の流体コンテナは、注入されるべき第1の流体を含むのに適している。流体注入器具はまた、少なくとも1つの加圧機構に作動的に繋がるコントローラを含む。コントローラは、例えば、複数のフェーズを有する注入プロトコルのプログラミングができるプログラミングシステムを含む。少なくとも1台のパラメータ生成器が配備されて、少なくとも一部が注入処置のタイプに基づいたプロトコルの複数フェーズのうち少なくとも1つのフェーズのパラメータを決定する。

インジェクタシステムにおいて、インジェクタ圧力を適切に且つ効果的に制御するために、注入を行なっている間、インジェクタシステムの流体通路の複数の地点で圧力を予測できることが望ましい。そのような圧力を予測するために、状態方程式を用いて、インジェクタ流路中の流れを数学的にモデリングすることができる。
Kvalve−流路に沿って「栓を閉じる」ことによる損失。バルブを開くと、この係数は0となる。
Kcoil−低圧力コネクタ(LPCT)チューブのコイル効果(coiled effect)による損失。モデル及び次のシミュレーションでは、80の値を用いており、これは、90度の屈曲部1箇所当りの損失係数(Kは約0.45)に、4(LPCTの1ループ当り)を掛け、さらに再度30(96インチLPCTのおおよそのループ数)を掛けることで決定される。この演算により、積は54となる。実験データとシミュレーションの出力を比較した後に、値26が積に加えられる。コイル損失80を用いることによるシミュレーションは、かなり良好な実験データに合致する。しかしながら、この係数を実験データ組に関してさらに最適化することもできる。
Kcontraction−流体が大きな直径を有するLPCTから小さい直径のカテーテルに押し進められるときに生ずる圧力による損失。この係数値は、流体のテキストに見られる。定数の実値は、カテーテル領域に対するLPCT領域の比に依存する。次の関係が2つの領域と係数との間に存在する(Potter and Swiggertにある)。
Claims (21)
- 流体注入装置であって、該流体注入装置は、
(a)流路を動作可能に接続できる少なくとも一つの加圧機構を備え、該流路は、少なくとも一種の流体を収容してそれに関連してチューブ接続する少なくとも一つの流体容器を具えており、前記少なくとも一つの加圧機構は流路中の少なくとも一種の流体を加圧し、流路中の少なくとも一種の流体を患者へ注入するものであり;
(b)前記少なくとも一つの加圧機構と動作可能に連繋し、プログラムシステムを有するコントローラを備え、該プログラムシステムは、(I)それの操作者によって注入処置の所望注入プロトコルを入力でき、それによって少なくとも一種の流体が患者に注入されることが予定され、(II)所望注入プロトコルが流体注入装置によって実行されるとき流路中の少なくとも一つの箇所で生じる予定圧力レベルを予測するための少なくとも一つのアルゴリズムを有し、 該予定圧力レベルは、注入処置に関係する複数パラメータの少なくとも一つが入力として使われる圧力モデルに沿い、所望注入プロトコルが開始される以前に、決定され;
少なくとも一つのアルゴリズムは、さらに(A)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値以下または同等の時は、流体注入装置による所望注入プロトコルの実行が可能であり、(B)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値を越えるときは、操作者に警報を発し、その際操作者は少なくとも一つのパラメータを変更しそれによって所望注入プロトコルを更新し、よって予定圧力レベルが圧力モデルを通じて圧力閾値以下であると判断されたとき、所望注入プロトコルは流体注入装置によって実行可能となる、流体注入装置。 - 圧力閾値は、(i)流体注入装置の操作者と、(ii)流体注入装置の製造者、の一方によって設定される、請求項1に記載の流体注入装置。
- 圧力モデルに基づいて予定圧力レベルを決めるのに使われる注入処置のパラメータには、少なくとも一種の流体の体積流量、少なくとも一種の流体の粘性、流路の少なくとも一つの特徴を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の流体注入装置。
- 流路の特徴の少なくとも一つには、(i)流路の内径、(ii)流路の適合性、(iii)流路抵抗、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項3に記載の流体注入装置。
- 予定圧力レベルが、圧力モデルに基づき圧力閾値を越えることが決まったときは、所望プロトコルを更新するために操作者が変更するのは、(i)少なくとも一種の流体の流量、(ii)少なくとも一種の流体の濃度、(iii)少なくとも一種の流体と少なくとも一種の他の流体との混合比、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の流体注入装置。
- 少なくとも一種の流体が、流体注入装置によって導入される流路の少なくとも一つの位置にて、該流体注入装置の操作によって生起される圧力を予測する流体注入装置の作動方法であって、該方法はつぎの工程を有している;
(a)少なくとも一種の流体を流路に導入するために所望注入プロトコルが用いられた場合に流路中の少なくとも一つの位置で生起する予定圧力レベルを予測し、該予定圧力レベルは、圧力モデルに基づき所望注入プロトコルを開始する以前に決められ、該圧力モデルでは、所望注入プロトコルに関係する複数のパラメータの少なくとも一つが入力として使われ;
(b)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値と同じまたは低い時は、意図したとおり所望注入プロトコルは用いられて少なくとも一種の流体を流路に導入し;
(c)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値を超えるときは、使用者にそのことを通報し、それによって使用者は、少なくとも一つのパラメータを変更し、それによって所望注入プロトコルを更新し、よって予定圧力レベルが圧力モデルを通じて圧力閾値以下であると判断されたとき、所望注入プロトコルは少なくとも一種の流体を流路に導入するために使用可能となる、少なくとも一種の流体が導入される流路の少なくとも一つの位置にて圧力を予測する流体注入装置の作動方法。 - 少なくとも一種の流体が所望注入プロトコルに基づき流体注入装置の操作によって流路に注入される方法であって、流体注入装置は内部にある少なくとも一種の流体を加圧する少なくとも一つのの加圧機構と、それとは操作可能に連携したコントローラを具えており、該コントローラによって所望注入プロトコルがプログラムされ、それに基づき少なくとも一種の流体を流路へ導入することが意図され患者へ注入される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 圧力閾値は、(i)流体注入装置の操作者と、(ii)流体注入装置の製造者、の一方によって設定される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 圧力モデルに基づいて予定圧力レベルを決めるのに使われる注入処置のパラメータには、少なくとも一種の流体の体積流量、少なくとも一種の流体の粘性、流体の少なくとも一つの特徴を含んでいる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 流路の特徴の少なくとも一つには、(i)流路の内径、(ii)流路の適合性、(iii)流路抵抗、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 予定圧力レベルが、圧力モデルに基づき圧力閾値を越えることが決まったときは、所望プロトコルを更新するために操作者が変更するのは、(i)少なくとも一種の流体の流量、(ii)少なくとも一種の流体の濃度、(iii)少なくとも一種の流体と少なくとも一種の他の流体との混合比、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一種の流体が患者に注入するため導入される流路内の少なくとも一つの位置で圧力を予測する装置であって,該装置は;
(a)少なくとも一つの加圧機構を制御するコントローラであって、該加圧機構は、少なくとも1つの流体容器からの少なくとも一種の流体を加圧しそれに関連したチューブを経て患者へ注入するためのものであり、
(b)前記コントローラと操作可能に連繋したプログラムシステムと、を具え、
該プログラムシステムは、(I)操作者によって所望注入処置のプロトコルを入力でき、それによって少なくとも一種の流体が患者に注入されることが予定され、そして(II)所望注入処置が流体注入装置によって実行されるならば、流路中の少なくとも一つの箇所で生じる予定圧力レベルを予測するための少なくとも一つのアルゴリズムを有し、該予定圧力レベルは、所望注入処置が基本とする複数パラメータの少なくとも一つを使う圧力モデルに基づき、所望注入処置が開始される以前に決定され;
少なくとも一つのアルゴリズムは、さらに(A)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値以下または同等の時は、流体注入装置による所望注入処置の実行が可能であり、 (B)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値を越えるときは、操作者に警報を発し、その際操作者は少なくとも一つのパラメータを変更しそれによって所望注入処置を更新し、よって予定圧力レベルが圧力モデルを通じて圧力閾値以下であると判断されたとき、所望注入処置は流体注入装置によって実行可能となる、流体注入装置。 - 圧力閾値は、(i)流体注入装置の操作者と、(ii)流体注入装置の製造者、の一方によって設定される、請求項12に記載の流体注入装置。
- 圧力モデルに基づいて予定圧力レベルを決めるのに使われる注入処置のパラメータには、少なくとも一種の流体の体積流量、少なくとも一種の流体の粘性、流路の少なくとも一つの特徴、を含んでいる、請求項12に記載の流体注入装置。
- 流路の特徴の少なくとも一つには、(i)流路の内径、(ii)流路の適合性、(iii)流路抵抗、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項14に記載の流体注入装置。
- 予定圧力レベルが、圧力モデルに基づき圧力閾値を越えることが決まったときは、所望注入処置を更新するために操作者が変更するのは、(i)少なくとも一種の流体の流量、(ii)少なくとも一種の流体の濃度、(iii)少なくとも一種の流体と少なくとも一種の他の流体との混合比、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項12に記載の流体注入装置。
- 少なくとも一種の流体が患者に注入するため導入される流路内の少なくとも一つの位置で圧力を予測する装置であって、該装置は;
(a)少なくとも一つの加圧機構を制御するコントローラであって、該加圧機構を通じて、少なくとも1つの流体容器からの少なくとも一種の流体を加圧しそれに関連したチューブを経て患者へ注入するためのものであるコントローラと、
(b)前記コントローラと操作可能に連繋したプログラムシステムと、を具え、該プログラムシステムは、(I)操作者によって所望注入処置を入力でき、それによって少なくとも一種の流体が患者に注入されることが予定され、そして(II)所望注入処置が流体注入装置によって実行されるならば、流路中の少なくとも一つの箇所で生じる予定圧力レベルを予測するための少なくとも一つのアルゴリズムを有し、該予定圧力レベルは、注入処置に関係する複数パラメータの少なくとも一つを入力として使う圧力モデルに基づき、所望注入処置が開始される以前に決定され;
少なくとも一つのアルゴリズムは、さらに(A)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値より低くまたは同等の時は、流体注入装置による所望注入処置の実行が可能であり、(B)予定圧力レベルが圧力閾値を越えるときは、コントローラは少なくとも一つのパラメータを変更可能であり、それによって所望注入処置は更新することが出来、よって予定圧力レベルが圧力モデルを通じて圧力閾値以下であると判断されたとき、所望注入処置は流体注入装置によって実行可能となる、流体注入装置。 - 圧力閾値は、(i)流体注入装置の操作者と、(ii)流体注入装置の製造者、の一方によって設定される、請求項17に記載の流体注入装置。
- 圧力モデルに基づいて予定圧力レベルを決めるのに使われる注入処置のパラメータには、少なくとも一種の流体の体積流量、少なくとも一種の流体の粘性、流路の少なくとも一つの特徴、を含んでいる、請求項17に記載の流体注入装置。
- 流路の特徴の少なくとも一つには、(i)流路の内径、(ii)流路の適合性、(iii)流路抵抗、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項19に記載の流体注入装置。
- 予定圧力レベルが、圧力モデルに基づき圧力閾値を越えることが決まったときは、所望注入処置を更新するために操作者が変更するのは、(i)少なくとも一種の流体の流量、(ii)少なくとも一種の流体の濃度、(iii)少なくとも一種の流体と少なくとも一種の他の流体との混合比、の少なくとも一つを含んでいる、請求項17に記載の流体注入装置。
