Description

Claims (17)
- トレイ及び射出成形特徴部を備える容器であって、
該トレイは、
底部パネルと、
前記底部パネルから上向きに延びると共に該容器の空洞の周囲に少なくとも部分的に延びて該容器の該空洞を少なくとも部分的に画定する複数の側部パネルと、
複数のマルチパートフランジであって、該複数のマルチパートフランジの各マルチパートフランジはそれぞれ、前記複数の側部パネルの各側部パネルの上縁から外向きに延び、該マルチパートフランジのうちの少なくとも1つは、前記各側部パネルの前記上縁から外向きに延びる下部フランジ部、該下部フランジ部の外縁から上向きに延びる中間部、及び該中間部から外向きに延びる上部フランジ部を有する、複数のマルチパートフランジと、
を備え、
前記射出成形特徴部は、
バンドであって、以下の:
前記上部フランジ部の上表面、及び
前記下部フランジ部の上表面
の双方に射出成形されるバンド
を備え、
前記バンドは、前記上部フランジ部の縁から外向きに延びる細長い部分を含み、
該細長い部分は前記バンドの外側部であり、該バンドは前記各側部パネルの前記上縁に隣接する内側部を含み、該内側部は前記外側部よりも断面積が大きく、
前記側部パネルは前記容器の細長い隅部を少なくとも部分的に画定し、該容器は、該容器の該隅部に沿って延びると共に該隅部を少なくとも部分的に画定する射出成形ストリップをさらに含み、前記射出成形ストリップは、前記容器の前記細長い隅部において、前記バンドの前記内側部から下向きに延び、
前記射出成形ストリップは、前記内側部に隣接する第1の上部隅部及び第2の上部隅部を有しており、該第1の上部隅部は前記第2の上部隅部よりも大きい曲率半径を有している、容器。
- 前記内側部は前記下部フランジ部の前記上表面より上にある、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記外側部は前記上部フランジ部の前記上表面より上にある、請求項2に記載の容器。
- 前記バンドは平らな上表面を含み、該バンドの該平らな上表面は該バンドの前記内側部の上表面及び該バンドの前記外側部の上表面を含む、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記細長い部分は前記容器の外縁を含み、該容器の該外縁は該容器の周囲に延びる、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記射出成形ストリップは、前記容器の前記細長い隅部において、前記側部パネルの内表面に隣接する、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記容器の前記細長い隅部は、前記側部パネルのそれぞれの縁の少なくとも一部の間に画定される間隙を含み、該間隙を前記射出成形ストリップが覆う、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記上部フランジ部は、前記容器の前記細長い隅部に保持部を含み、該保持部は前記側部パネルの隅部片が重なることによって形成される、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記バンド及び前記射出成形ストリップは射出成形構造体を構成する、請求項6に記載の容器。
- 容器を成形する工具であって、該工具は、
ブランクを受け入れるように動作可能であるキャビティであって、前記容器の少なくとも1つの側壁を成形する少なくとも1つの側壁、及び前記容器の少なくとも1つのフランジを成形する少なくとも1つのフランジ壁を有する、キャビティと、
前記キャビティに動作可能に接続されるコアであって、該キャビティに入って、前記容器になるように前記ブランクを少なくとも部分的に成形するように動作可能である、コアと、
前記キャビティ及び前記コアから少なくとも部分的に形成される射出キャビティであって、該射出キャビティは、液体樹脂を受け取って該液体樹脂を前記ブランクの周囲の少なくとも一部の周りに導き、該射出キャビティは、高流量セクション及び低流量セクションを含み、該高流量セクションは、該低流量セクションよりも断面積が大きく、該高流量セクションは、前記キャビティの少なくとも1つの側壁に隣接して位置し、該低流量セクションは、前記高流量セクションから外向きに前記フランジ壁を超えて延びる、射出キャビティと、
を備え、
前記射出キャビティは前記容器のフランジに射出成形バンドを成形し、前記低流量セクションは前記フランジの縁から外向きに延びる細長い部分を含み、
前記射出キャビティは前記高流量セクションの一部を形成する隅部を含み、該隅部は前記射出成形バンドから延びると共に前記容器の隅部を少なくとも部分的に画定する射出成形ストリップを成形し、
前記射出キャビティの前記隅部は、該隅部における前記高流量セクションへの樹脂の流れを容易にするカットアウトを含む、容器を成形する工具。
- 前記高流量セクションは、前記低流量セクションよりも高い流量の樹脂の流れを可能にするように構成される、請求項10に記載の工具。
- 前記射出キャビティに樹脂を流す射出ポートを含み、前記隅部は第1の隅部であり、前記キャビティは第2の隅部、第3の隅部及び第4の隅部をさらに含み、前記キャビティの前記第2の隅部は、前記容器の第2の隅部を画定し、該隅部における前記高流量セクションへの樹脂の流れを容易にするカットアウトを含む、請求項10に記載の工具。
- 前記第1の隅部及び前記第2の隅部は共に、前記第3の隅部及び前記第4の隅部よりも前記射出ポートから遠くに離れて位置する、請求項12に記載の工具。
- 射出成形特徴部を有する容器を成形する方法であって、該方法は、
ブランクを用意するステップ、
高流量セクション及び低流量セクションを有する射出キャビティを含む成形工具に前記ブランクを入れるステップ、
次いで、前記ブランクが前記成形工具内にある状態のまま該成形工具を閉じるステップであって、前記閉じた成形工具内で三次元物品になるように該ブランクが成形され、該三次元物品は少なくとも1つの側壁及び該側壁から延びるフランジを有する、前記成形工具を閉じるステップ、
次いで、前記三次元物品が前記閉じた成形工具内にある状態のまま該三次元物品に射出成形特徴部を成形するステップであって、該成形するステップは、前記高流量セクションにおいて樹脂が前記低流量セクションにおける樹脂よりも高い流量で流れるように、樹脂を前記射出キャビティに射出するステップを含み、前記高流量セクションは前記少なくとも1つの側壁に隣接し、前記低流量セクションは前記高流量セクションから外向きに前記フランジを超えて延びる、射出成形特徴部を成形するステップ、及び
次いで、前記射出成形特徴部付きの前記三次元物品を前記成形工具から取り出すステップ、
を含み、
前記射出成形特徴部を成形するステップは、前記容器のフランジに射出成形バンドを成形するステップを含み、前記低流量セクションは、前記フランジの縁から外向きに延びる細長い部分を含み、
前記三次元物品は隅部を含み、前記射出成形特徴部を成形するステップは、前記射出成形バンドから延びると共に前記三次元物品の隅部を少なくとも部分的に画定する射出成形ストリップを前記射出キャビティの前記高流量セクションで成形するステップを含み、
前記射出キャビティは、前記三次元物品の前記隅部での前記高流量セクションにおける樹脂の流れを容易にするカットアウトを有し、該カットアウトへの樹脂の流れによって前記射出成形ストリップが成形される、方法。
- 前記高流量セクションは、前記低流量セクションよりも高い流量の樹脂の流れを可能にするように構成される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記成形工具は前記射出キャビティに樹脂を流す射出ポートを含み、前記隅部は第1の隅部であり、前記三次元物品は第2の隅部、第3の隅部及び第4の隅部をさらに含み、前記カットアウトは第1のカットアウトであり、前記射出成形ストリップは第1の射出成形ストリップであり、前記キャビティは、前記射出成形特徴部の第2の射出成形ストリップを成形するように前記三次元物品の前記第2の隅部での前記高流量セクションにおける樹脂の流れを容易にする第2のカットアウトを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の隅部及び前記第2の隅部は共に、前記第3の隅部及び前記第4の隅部よりも前記射出ポートから遠くに離れて位置する、請求項16に記載の方法。
