Description
オートクレーブに、Alcoaから購入したHydral 710のアルミニウム三水酸化物(水酸化アルミニウム)7.42lbと、名称がCatapal Bの擬ベーマイトでSASOLから得られるベーマイト0.82lbと、脱イオン水66.5lbと、水酸化カリウム0.037lbと、22wt%の硝酸0.18lbとを充填した。ベーマイトは水5lbと酸0.18lb中に前もって分散させた後、水酸化アルミニウムと残りの水と水酸化カリウムに加えた。
オートクレーブに、Alcoaから購入したHydral 710のアルミニウム三水酸化物(水酸化アルミニウム)220gと、名称がCatapal Bの擬ベーマイトでSASOLから得られるベーマイト55gと、脱イオン水1000gと、18%の硝酸34.7gとを充填した。ベーマイトは水100gと酸6.9g中に前もって分散させた後、水酸化アルミニウムと残りの水と酸に加えた。
オートクレーブに、Alcoaから購入したHydral 710のアルミニウム三水酸化物(水酸化アルミニウム)220gと、名称がCatapal Bの擬ベーマイトでSASOLから得られるベーマイト55gと、脱イオン水1000gと、18%の硝酸21.4gとを充填した。ベーマイトは水100gと酸15.3g中に前もって分散させた後、水酸化アルミニウムと残りの水と酸に加えた。
Claims (18)
- ベーマイト前駆体とベーマイト種結晶を懸濁液中に提供する工程と、
該懸濁液を150℃〜185℃の温度で熱処理して前記ベーマイト前駆体をベーマイト粒子材料に転化する工程と、
該ベーマイト粒子材料を250℃〜1100℃の温度で焼成して該ベーマイト粒子材料をγ−アルミナ、δ−アルミナ、θ−アルミナ、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される遷移アルミナ粒子材料であって、少なくとも3:1のアスペクト比を有する遷移アルミナ粒子材料に変換する工程と
を含む、遷移アルミナ粒子材料を形成するための方法。 - 前記懸濁液の熱処理が8より大きいpHで実施されてプレート状のベーマイト粒子材料が生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ベーマイト前駆体とベーマイト種結晶の質量比が少なくとも60:40である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料の平均粒子サイズが75nm以上である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記平均粒子サイズが1000nm以下である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子が、前記ベーマイト粒子材料よりも大きな比表面積を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記懸濁液の熱処理が7より小さいpHで実施されて針状のベーマイト粒子材料が生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ベーマイト粒子材料の焼成が250℃〜750℃の温度で実施されて該ベーマイト粒子材料がγ相の遷移アルミナ粒子材料に変換される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ベーマイト粒子材料の焼成が750℃〜950℃の温度で実施されて該ベーマイト粒子材料がδ相の遷移アルミナ粒子材料に変換される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ベーマイト粒子材料の焼成が950℃〜1100℃の温度で実施されて該ベーマイト粒子材料がθ相の遷移アルミナ粒子材料に変換される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 焼成される前記ベーマイト粒子材料が少なくとも3:1の第1アスペクト比を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料が最大3:1の第2アスペクト比を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料が少なくとも3:1の第2アスペクト比を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料がプレート状である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料が針状である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料が少なくとも80wt%の遷移アルミナを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移アルミナ粒子材料が400m2/g以下の比表面積を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ベーマイト前駆体が水酸化アルミニウムを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
