Description
(A)100重量部の高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブテン、ポリイソプレン、エチレンコポリマー、ポリアミド、ポリアミン及びポリエステルからなる群から選ばれる熱可塑性樹脂;及び
(B)少なくとも1重量部の数平均分子量が少なくとも10,000の相互作用性ジオルガノポリシロキサン。
前記ポリオレフィンは、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブテン、ポリイソブテン及びエチレンコポリマーから選ばれるとよい。
Mnが400,000で、25℃での粘度が2.5×107 mPa・s(cp)であるヒドロキシル末端ポリジメチルシロキサンを、HDPE、PET又はナイロン6に配合し、次いでパネルに成形し、疎水性について試験した。以下の手順を用いた。
以下の例は、本発明の表面偏析現象、即ち、ヒドロキシル末端シロキサンのフィルム表面への移行を明らかにする。
この例は、本発明の添加剤を使用すると、与えられた量の押し出し物の加工に必要な単位時間当たりのエネルギー量を減らすことによって、熱可塑性樹脂の加工効率を改善することを証明する。
Claims (4)
- 加工された熱可塑性樹脂が未変性の熱可塑性樹脂に比べて改善された疎水性を示すことになる熱可塑性樹脂の加工方法であって、
高密度ポリエチレンおよびポリプロピレンからなる群から選ばれる熱可塑性樹脂100重量部を含む熱可塑性樹脂(A)に対して、ヒドロキシル基及びアルケニル基からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つのペンダント基又は末端基を有し、かつ、数平均分子量が10,000〜1,000,000であるジオルガノポリシロキサン1〜5重量部を含む加工助剤(B)を添加することにより均一ブレンドを形成し、そして
得られたブレンドを、金属ダイを通して加工することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記加工された樹脂を、射出成形、射出吹込成形、押出吹込成形、インフレート法、キャストフィルム法、異形押出し、回転成形、圧縮成形、トランスファー成形、熱成形及びカレンダー成形からなる群から選ばれる更なる加工工程に付す、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加工助剤(B)がポリジメチルシロキサンである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- (A)高密度ポリエチレンおよびポリプロピレンからなる群から選ばれる熱可塑性樹脂100重量部、並びに
(B)ヒドロキシル基及びアルケニル基からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つのペンダント基又は末端基を有し、かつ、数平均分子量が10,000〜1,000,000であるジオルガノポリシロキサン1〜50重量部
を含む組成物を、金属ダイを通して加工して、熱可塑性樹脂の疎水性を改善するために使用すること。
