Description
昇した電圧がある所定値以上になると、過電流検出回路308は放電過電流が発生したと判断して、疑似的な放電過電流状態が発生する。一方、充電器301からの充電パルスがある期間Tonにおいては、充電器301から電池201に向って充電電流が流れるので、電池電圧は所定値以上になり、過放電検出回路307は過放電が解除されたと判断する。一般的に過電流遅延時間は、負荷短絡保護のために短く設定しているので、遅延回路を共通にしている場合には、過放電解除の遅延時間が終了しないうちに、疑似的な放電過電流が再びやってくるので、過放電解除ができなくなる可能性がある。
すなわち、過充電状態における充電過電流の誤検出を防止することが出来るので、パルス充電を行う充電器と負荷が接続された場合においても、安全性が高い充放電制御回路及びバッテリ装置を提供することが可能となる。

Claims (4)
- バッテリの電圧をモニタした結果に基づいて電流制限回路を制御することによって、前記バッテリの充放電を制御する充放電制御回路であって、
前記バッテリの両端の電圧を監視して、前記バッテリの過充電状態を検出する過充電検出回路と、
前記バッテリの両端の電圧を監視して、前記バッテリの過放電状態を検出する過放電検出回路と、
前記電流制限回路の両端の電圧を監視して、前記バッテリの充電過電流状態または放電過電流状態を検出する過電流検出回路と、
前記過充電検出回路と、前記過放電検出回路と、前記過電流検出回路の検出信号を遅延させる、各検出回路共通に設けられた一つの遅延回路と、
前記遅延回路の出力する検出信号に基づいて前記電流制限回路を制御する信号を出力するロジック回路を備え、
過充電状態において充電過電流の検出を無効とし、過放電状態において放電過電流の検出を無効とすることを特徴とする充放電制御回路。 - 前記ロジック回路は、
過充電状態において充電過電流の検出信号を無効にする充電過電流誤検出防止手段と、
過放電状態において放電過電流の検出信号を無効にする放電過電流誤検出防止手段と、を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充放電制御回路。 - 前記ロジック回路は、
過充電状態において、前記過電流検出回路に充電過電流の検出を禁止する信号を出力する充電過電流誤検出防止手段と、
過放電状態において、前記過電流検出回路に放電過電流の検出を禁止する信号を出力する放電過電流誤検出防止手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充放電制御回路。 - バッテリと、
前記バッテリの充電電流または放電電流を制限する電流制限回路と、
請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の充放電制御回路と、
を備えていることを特徴とするバッテリ装置。
