Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態にかかる空気入りタイヤ1を示すタイヤ子午線方向の断面図である。同図は、空気入りタイヤ1の一例として、長距離輸送用のトラック、バスなどに装着される重荷重用ラジアルタイヤを示している。
また、この空気入りタイヤ1では、周方向補強層145を構成するベルトコードがスチールワイヤであり、周方向補強層145が17[本/50mm]以上30[本/50mm]以下のエンド数を有することが好ましい。また、ベルトコードの外径が、1.2[mm]以上2.2[mm]以下の範囲内にあることが好ましい。なお、ベルトコードが縒り合わされた複数本のコードから成る構成では、ベルトコードの外径がベルトコードの外接円の直径として測定される。
近年の空気入りタイヤは、タイヤの径成長を抑制してショルダー陸部に偏摩耗(特に、ステップ摩耗)を抑制するために、ベルト層に周方向補強層を備えている。
以上説明したように、この空気入りタイヤ1は、周方向補強層145を含むベルト層14を備える(図1、図3および図4参照)。また、空気入りタイヤ1は、複数の周方向主溝21〜23と、これらの周方向主溝21〜23に区画されて成る複数の陸部31〜34とを備える(図2参照)。また、周方向補強層145上にある陸部31〜33(図5では、ブロック5)が、少なくとも1つのサイプ6を有する。また、このサイプ6が、平面視にて2つの屈曲点P1、P2をもつ屈曲形状を有すると共に、両端点Q1、Q2を陸部31〜33内で終端させるクローズド構造を有する。また、屈曲点P1、P2を結ぶ線分とタイヤ周方向とのなす角αが、0[deg]≦α≦10[deg]の範囲内にある。また、屈曲点P1および端点Q1を結ぶ線分とタイヤ周方向とのなす角β1、ならびに、屈曲点P2および端点Q2を結ぶ線分とタイヤ周方向とのなす角β2が、35[deg]≦β1≦55[deg]かつ35[deg]≦β2≦55[deg]の範囲内にある。
なお、この空気入りタイヤ1は、重荷重用タイヤに適用されることが好ましい。重荷重用タイヤでは、乗用車用タイヤと比較して、タイヤ使用時の負荷が大きい。すると、周方向補強層の配置領域と、周方向補強層よりもタイヤ幅方向外側の領域との径差が大きくなりショルダー陸部に偏摩耗が生じ易い。そこで、かかる重荷重用タイヤを適用対象とすることにより、耐偏摩耗抑制効果を顕著に得られる。
Claims (13)
- 周方向補強層を含むベルト層を備えると共に、複数の周方向主溝と、前記周方向主溝に区画されて成る複数の陸部とを備える空気入りタイヤであって、
前記周方向補強層上にある前記陸部が、少なくとも1つのサイプを有し、
前記サイプが、平面視にて2つの屈曲点P1、P2をもつ屈曲形状を有すると共に、両端点Q1、Q2を前記陸部内で終端させるクローズド構造を有し、
屈曲点P1、P2を結ぶ線分とタイヤ周方向とのなす角αが、0[deg]≦α≦10[deg]の範囲内にあり、
屈曲点P1および端点Q1を結ぶ線分とタイヤ周方向とのなす角β1、ならびに、屈曲点P2および端点Q2を結ぶ線分とタイヤ周方向とのなす角β2が、35[deg]≦β1≦55[deg]かつ35[deg]≦β2≦55[deg]の範囲内にあり、
屈曲点P1および端点Q1を結ぶ線分の長さS1と、屈曲点P2および端点Q2を結ぶ線分の長さS2と、屈曲点P1、P2を結ぶ線分のタイヤ周方向の長さL1とが、0.50≦S1/L1≦0.70かつ0.50≦S2/L1≦0.70の関係を有し、
前記サイプのタイヤ幅方向の幅W1と、前記サイプを有する前記陸部のタイヤ幅方向の幅W2とが、W1/W2≦0.20の関係を有し、
前記サイプの深さD1が、端点Q1、Q2に向かうに連れて漸減し、
前記周方向補強層が、前記一対の交差ベルトのうち幅狭な交差ベルトの左右のエッジ部よりもタイヤ幅方向内側に配置され、且つ、
前記幅狭な交差ベルトの幅Wと前記周方向補強層の幅Wsとが、0.60≦Ws/Wの範囲内にあることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記サイプの最大深さD1と、前記サイプを有する前記陸部の左右の前記周方向主溝の最大深さD2とが、0.15≦D1/D2≦0.85の関係を有する請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 屈曲点P1および端点Q1を結ぶ線分の長さS1と、屈曲点P2および端点Q2を結ぶ線分の長さS2とが、2.5[mm]≦S1≦6.0[mm]かつ2.5[mm]≦S2≦6.0[mm]の範囲内にある請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記陸部が、タイヤ周方向に配列された複数のブロックから成り、且つ、
前記サイプの屈曲点P1、P2を結ぶ線分のタイヤ周方向の長さL1と、前記サイプを有する前記ブロックのタイヤ周方向の長さL2とが、0.10≦L1/L2≦0.30の関係を有する請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 屈曲点P1、P2を結ぶ線分と、屈曲点P1および端点Q1を結ぶ線分とのなす角γ1、ならびに、屈曲点P1、P2を結ぶ線分と、屈曲点P2および端点Q2を結ぶ線分とのなす角γ2が、145[deg]≦γ1≦155[deg]かつ145[deg]≦γ2≦155[deg]の範囲内にある請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記サイプが、中央部と、サイプ端部を含む両端部とを接続して成る屈曲形状を有し、且つ、前記両端部が、タイヤ周方向に対して前記中央部と同一方向に傾斜する請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベルト層が、高角度ベルトと、前記高角度ベルトのタイヤ径方向外側に配置される一対の交差ベルトと、前記一対の交差ベルトのタイヤ径方向外側に配置されるベルトカバーと、前記一対の交差ベルトの間、前記一対の交差ベルトのタイヤ径方向内側あるいは前記高角度ベルトのタイヤ径方向内側に配置される前記周方向補強層とから成る請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記周方向補強層を構成するベルトコードがスチールワイヤであり、前記周方向補強層が17[本/50mm]以上30[本/50mm]以下のエンド数を有する請求項1〜7のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記周方向補強層を構成するベルトコードの部材時における引張り荷重100Nから300N時の伸びが1.0[%]以上2.5[%]以下である請求項1〜8のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記周方向補強層を構成するベルトコードのタイヤ時における引張り荷重500Nから1000N時の伸びが0.5[%]以上2.0[%]以下である請求項1〜9のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記周方向補強層が、前記一対の交差ベルトのうち幅狭な交差ベルトの左右のエッジ部よりもタイヤ幅方向内側に配置され、且つ、
前記幅狭な交差ベルトの幅Wと前記周方向補強層のエッジ部から前記幅狭な交差ベルトのエッジ部までの距離Sとが、0.03≦S/Wの範囲にある請求項1〜10のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記周方向補強層の幅Wsが、タイヤ展開幅TDWに対して、0.65≦Ws/TDW≦0.80の範囲内にある請求項1〜11のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 偏平率70[%]以下のタイヤに適用される請求項1〜12のいずれか一つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
