Claims (6)
- 包絡線信号が入力される多数個の電力増幅段と、
多数個の電力増幅段に対してそれぞれ設置され、各電力増幅段を駆動するためにそれぞれ設定された各基準電圧に基づき、入力された包絡線信号の大きさに応じて個別的にスイッチングを行うことによって、多数個の電力増幅段を個別的にオン・オフにする多数個のスイッチング回路と、を含んで構成され、
前記スイッチング回路は、ドレーンが電力増幅器のスイッチング入力端に連結され、ゲートに基準電圧が印加され、ソースに包絡線信号が印加されるように連結されたpMOSトランジスタであることを特徴とする自動スイッチング機能を備えた電力増幅器。 - 包絡線信号が入力される多数個の電力増幅段と、
多数個の電力増幅段に対してそれぞれ設置され、各電力増幅段を駆動するためにそれぞれ設定された各基準電圧に基づき、入力された包絡線信号の大きさに応じて個別的にスイッチングを行うことによって、多数個の電力増幅段を個別的にオン・オフにする多数個のスイッチング回路と、を含んで構成され、
前記スイッチング回路は、ドレーンが電力増幅器のスイッチング入力端に連結され、ゲートに包絡線信号が印加され、ソースに基準電圧が印加されるように連結されたpMOSトランジスタであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動スイッチング機能を備えた電力増幅器。 - 前記各基準電圧は、異なる値を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動スイッチング機能を備えた電力増幅器。
- 前記電力増幅器は、ポーラー構造の非線形電力増幅器や線形電力増幅器であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動スイッチング機能を備えた電力増幅器。
- 前記電力増幅器が線形電力増幅器である場合、前記電力増幅器へ入力される包絡線信号の大きさを検出して出力するための電力感知器をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の自動スイッチング機能を備えた電力増幅器。
- 前記包絡線信号は、電圧形態の情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動スイッチング機能を備えた電力増幅器。
