Description
以下、図面に基づき本発明の第一実施形態について説明する。
運転点Aは、燃焼不可領域に含まれるので、ステップA102において燃焼不可と判断される。
以下、図6から図8に基づき本発明の第二実施形態について説明する。
運転点が燃焼可の領域に含まれる場合は、補正判断をすべく、ステップB103に進む。
運転点Dは燃焼可領域に含まれるので、ステップB102において燃焼可と判断され、ステップB103に進む。
運転点Eは燃焼不可領域に含まれるので、ステップB104において燃焼不可と判断され、ステップB106に進む。
図9から図13に基づき本発明の第三実施形態について説明する。

Claims (9)
- 内燃機関と、
前記内燃機関をクランキングして始動させる電動機と、
前記電動機に電力を供給する蓄電装置と、
前記内燃機関の回転数を検出する回転数検出手段と、
前記始動時に内燃機関の回転数が共振回転数範囲内にあるときは共振回転数範囲を越えたときに比べて有効圧縮比を低くし、前記内燃機関の回転数が共振回転数範囲を越えたときは前記内燃機関の有効圧縮比を共振回転数範囲内と比べて高く変更する有効圧縮比変更手段と、
前記内燃機関の回転数が共振回転数範囲を越えたときに前記内燃機関の回転数と燃焼に関与する状態量とに基づいて燃焼可否を判断する燃焼可否判断手段と、
前記燃焼可否判断手段が燃焼可能と判断した場合に限り、前記燃焼可否判断手段で使用しなかった燃焼に関与する状態量と前記燃焼可否判断手段で使用した燃焼に関与する状態量とに基づいて燃焼可否を補正判断する燃焼可否補正判断手段と、
前記燃焼可否補正判断手段が燃焼可能と判断した場合に燃料供給を開始する燃料供給制御装置と、
を備える内燃機関の始動装置。 - 前記燃焼に関与する状態量が、大気圧、吸気温、冷却水温、有効圧縮比、燃料圧力の少なくともいずれか一つである請求項1の内燃機関の始動装置。
- さらに、前記始動開始後に燃焼可能となるまでの時間を推定する時間推定手段を備え、
前記時間推定手段の推定結果に応じて前記内燃機関をクランキングする前記電動機の回転上昇率を変更する請求項1または2の内燃機関の始動装置。 - 前記時間推定手段が、燃焼可能となるまでの時間を、クランキングトルク目標値に加え、大気圧、吸気温、冷却水温、有効圧縮比、燃料圧力の少なくともいずれか一つに基づいて推定する請求項3の内燃機関の始動装置。
- 前記時間推定手段が、クランキングトルク目標値に加え、大気圧、吸気温、冷却水温、有効圧縮比、燃料圧力の少なくともいずれか一つに基づいて燃焼可能となるまでの時間を推定し、次いで前記燃焼可能となるまでの時間の推定に使用しなかった大気圧、吸気温、冷却水温、有効圧縮比、燃料圧力の少なくともいずれか一つに基づいて、前記燃焼可能となるまでの時間の推定を補正する請求項4の内燃機関の始動装置。
- 前記内燃機関始動時の前記電動機の回転上昇率を、燃料供給までの時間が所定時間内となるように修正する請求項3ないし5のいずれか一つの内燃機関の始動装置。
- 前記電動機の回転上昇率の修正を、前記電動機のクランキングトルクの修正によって行う請求項6の内燃機関の始動装置。
- 前記電動機の限界クランキングトルクを設定し、前記電動機のクランキングトルクの修正上限は限界クランキングトルクまでとする請求項7の内燃機関の始動装置。
- 前記電動機の限界クランキングトルクを前記蓄電装置の充電状態に基づいて決定する請求項7の内燃機関の始動装置。
