Claims (4)
- 広帯域無線接続通信システムにおけるレンジングコードを割り当てる方法であって、
前記レンジングコードを、初期レンジングに用いる初期レンジングコード、周期的なレンジングに用いる周期的なレンジング、帯域幅要求レンジングに用いる帯域幅要求レンジング、及びドロップレンジングに用いるドロップレンジングに分類するステップと、
前記初期レンジングコードとしてA個のレンジングコードを、前記周期的なレンジングコードとしてB個のレンジングコードを、及び、前記帯域幅要求レンジングコードとしてC個のレンジングコードを、及び、前記ドロップレンジングコードとしてD個のレンジングコードを割り当てるステップと
を含み、
前記ドロップレンジングコードは、ドロップされていて、通信を再開しようとする移動加入者端末であることを基地局に認識させるためのレンジングコードであり、前記移動加入者端末がドロップされたとき、前記移動加入者端末から前記基地局に送信されることで、前記移動加入者端末が非競争方式により優先して通信を再開させるためのレンジングコードである
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記A個のレンジングコード、前記B個のレンジングコード、前記C個のレンジングコード、及び前記D個のレンジングコードの合計は、予め設定された数に等しい、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 広帯域無線接続通信システムにおけるレンジングコードを割り当てるシステムであって、
レンジングを分類する送信側と、
前記送信側からの情報を受信し、レンジングを行う受信側と、
を備え、
前記レンジングコードを、初期レンジングに用いる初期レンジングコード、周期的なレンジングに用いる周期的なレンジング、帯域幅要求レンジングに用いる帯域幅要求レンジング、及びドロップレンジングに用いるドロップレンジングに分類し、前記送信側は、前記初期レンジングコードとしてA個のレンジングコードを、前記周期的なレンジングコードとしてB個のレンジングコードを、前記帯域幅要求レンジングコードとしてC個のレンジングコードを、及び、前記ドロップレンジングコードとしてD個のレンジングコードを割り当て、
前記ドロップレンジングコードは、ドロップされていて、通信を再開する前記受信側であることを前記送信側に認識させるためのレンジングコードであり、前記受信側がドロップされたとき、前記受信側から前記送信側に送信されることで、前記受信側が非競争方式により優先して通信を再開させるためのレンジングコードである
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記A個のレンジングコード、前記B個のレンジングコード、前記C個のレンジングコード、及び前記D個のレンジングコードの合計は、予め設定された数に等しい、ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシステム。
