Description
前記有機層のうちの発光層を除く有機層を表示領域全体に形成し、その後、前記上部透明電極と電流供給線とを電気的に接続する部分を、精密マスクを用いずに、除去することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置の製造方法
Claims (5)
- 基板上に、有機発光素子を駆動するための駆動素子を含む駆動層と有機発光素子とが順次積層され、前記有機発光素子の有機層を挟む一対の電極のうちの上部透明電極と、
前記一対の電極のもう一方の下部電極が形成された層に形成した電流供給線とを電気的に接続する有機発光表示装置の製造方法において、
信号線が前記電流供給線に垂直に配置され、
前記信号線および前記電流供給線の交差する箇所上の絶縁膜にコンタクトホールが設けられ、
前記有機層のうちの発光層を除く有機層を表示領域全体に形成し、
その後、前記有機層の前記上部透明電極と電流供給線とを電気的に接続する部分を信号線に平行に、かつ、前記信号線上をレーザースキャンすることにより除去することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法において、
前記有機層の一部をストライプ状に除去することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法において、
前記有機層のコンタクトホール部分のみをドット状に除去することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法において、
前記上部透明電極と電流供給線とを金属層を介して電気的に接続することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法において、
前記電流供給線を格子状に形成することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置の製造方法。
