Description
a)炭素数1〜12であるアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマー90乃至99.9重量部;架橋可能な官能基を含むビニル系及び/またはアクリル系モノマー0.1乃至10重量部を共重合して得られたアクリル系共重合体100重量部;
b)多官能性架橋剤0.01乃至10重量部;及び
c)前記の化学式1のウレタンとピリジンの有機官能基を有するシラン化合物0.01乃至5重量部を含むアクリル系粘着剤組成物を提供する。
アクリル系共重合体の製造
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易になるように冷却装置を設けた1L反応器に、n−ブチルアクリレート(BA)98.1重量部、アクリル酸(AA)0.6重量部、ヒドロキシエチルメタアクリレート(2-HEMA)1.3重量部から構成される単量体混合物を投入した後、溶剤でエチルアセテート(EAc)100重量部を投入した。
前記から製造されたアクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、架橋剤としてトリメチロールプロパンのトリレンジイソジアナート付加物(TDI-1)0.5重量部、下記化学式2のシラン化合物を1.0重量部を投入し、コーティング性を考えて適正な濃度に希釈して均一に混合した後、離形紙にコーティングして乾燥した後、25ミクロンの均一な粘着層を得た。
前記のように製造された粘着層を厚さ185ミクロンのヨード系偏光板に粘着加工した後、得られた偏光板を適切な大きさに切断して評価に使用した。
下記表1のような組成で、実施例1の方法によってアクリル系共重合体を製造した。この後、粘着剤組成物の配合時には、実施例1の組成を基準として各成分の一部の量を変化させ、成分の種類を変更したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法でアクリル系粘着剤を製造、配合、ラミネート加工工程を実施した。
下記表1のような組成で、実施例1の方法によってアクリル系共重合体を製造した。この後、粘着剤組成物の配合時には、実施例1の組成を基準として、各成分の一部を添加し、成分の一部の量を変化させ、もしくは成分の種類を変更したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法でアクリル系粘着剤を製造、配合、ラミネート加工工程を実施した。
n−BA:n−ブチルアクリレート

4−HBA:4−ヒドロキシブチルアクリレート
AA:アクリル酸
架橋剤TDI-1:トリメチルオールプロパンのトリレンジイソシアナート 付加物
Silane A-1:
耐久性
前記から製造された粘着剤がコーティングされた偏光板(90mm×170mm)をガラス基板(110mm×190mm×0.7mm)に両面で光学吸収軸がクロスされた状態で貼り付けた。この際、加えた圧力は約5kg/cm2で気泡や異物が生じないようにクリーンルーム作業を行った。
○:気泡や剥離現象無し △:気泡や剥離現象多少有り
×:気泡や剥離現象有り
前記から製造された粘着剤でコーティングされた偏光板を、常温(23℃、60%R.H)において7日間熟成させた後、該偏光板はそれぞれ1インチ×6インチサイズのフラグメントに切断し、2kgのゴムローラーを使用して0.7mm厚さの無アルカリガラスに貼り付か、常温で保管した後1時間後に初期接着力を測定し、貼り付けた後50℃で4時間エージングさせた後、常温で1時間保管後、接着力を測定した。
前記の偏光板(90mm×170mm)をガラス基板(110mm×190mm×0.7mm)に貼り付けた後1時間経過、及び50℃、4時間エージングし、常温で1時間放置後、偏光板をガラスから剥離した。
○:容易に再剥離される △:再剥離は若干困難
×:剥離が大変困難であり、ガラスが破壊されうる

Claims (9)
- a)炭素数1〜12であるアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマー90乃至99.9重量部;架橋可能な官能基を含むビニル系及び/またはアクリル系モノマー0.1乃至10重量部を共重合して得られたアクリル系共重合体100重量部;
b)多官能性架橋剤0.01乃至10重量部;及び
c)請求項1に記載の化学式1のウレタンとピリジンの有機官能基を有するシラン化合物0.01乃至9重量部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアクリル系粘着剤組成物。 - 前記a)の(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマーは炭素数が2乃至8であるアルキルエステルであって、ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、イソプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、t−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、ペンチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−オクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソオクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソノニル(メタ)アクリレート及び2−エチルブチル(メタ)アクリレートからなる群より選ばれる1種以上のアルキルエステルであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアクリル系粘着剤組成物。
- 前記a)の架橋可能な官能基を含むモノマーは、2−ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、4−ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−ヒドロキシエチレングリコール(メタ)アクリレート、2−ヒドロキシプロピレングリコール(メタ)アクリレート、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸二量体、イタコン酸、マレイン酸及びマレイン酸無水物とからなる群より選ばれる1種以上のモノマーであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアクリル系粘着剤組成物。
- 前記b)の多官能性架橋剤は、イソシアナート系化合物、エポキシ系化合物、アジリジン系化合物、及び金属キレート系化合物とからなる群より選ばれる1種以上の架橋剤であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアクリル系粘着剤組成物。
- アクリル系粘着剤組成物の架橋密度が5乃至95%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の偏光板用アクリル系粘着剤組成物。
- 化学式1で示される化合物を含有するアクリル系粘着剤組成物を、偏光フィルムの一面または両面の粘着剤層に含むことを特徴とする粘着偏光板。
- 前記粘着偏光板が、保護層、反射層、位相差板、光視野角補償フィルム及び輝度向上フィルムとからなる群から選ばれる1種以上の層をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 請求項7または8に記載の粘着偏光板が、液晶セルの一面または両面に接合する液晶パネルを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
