Description
Claims (22)
- カバーガラスセレクター装置に於いて、該装置は組合せ式に
少なくとも1つのカバースリップと、
柔軟なバッキングプレートとシーリング部材とを備えるカバースリップグリッパーとを具備しており、該柔軟なバッキングプレートは底部と孔とを有しており、該シーリング部材は該柔軟なバッキングプレートの該底部に結合されるか又はそれと一体となっており、該シーリング部材は該柔軟なバッキングプレートの該底部のエッジの近位にあり、該装置は組合せ式に又、
真空源とガスの漏らない導管とを具備しており、該導管は該柔軟なバッキングプレートの該底部内の該孔と、該真空源と、に接続されており、それにより真空を該柔軟なバッキングプレートへ連通させており、そして該装置は組合せ式に更に、
該シーリング部材が前記カバーガラスと接触するよう該柔軟なバッキングプレート及び/又はカバーガラスのスタックを相互に対し動かす手段を具備しており、それにより該シーリング部材と該カバーガラスとの間に真空の漏らないシールを形成することを特徴とする該装置。 - 前記カバースリップグリッパーが更に支持ブロックを備えており、該支持ブロックが該柔軟なバッキングプレートに結合された底部を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該支持ブロックの該底部がカーブしていることを特徴とする請求項2記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該支持ブロックの該カーブした底部が概ね一定のカーブ半径を有することを特徴とする請求項3記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該柔軟なバッキングプレートが更に少なくとも2つのブラケットを有し、該ブラケットが該プレートの端部で該柔軟なバッキングプレートに取り付けられるか又はそれと一体であり、それによって、促された時、該ブラケットが該柔軟なバッキングプレートの該端部を引き上げるので該柔軟なバッキングプレートは該支持ブロックの該カーブした底部の周りに曲げられそれによりそれに適合することを特徴とする請求項3記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 更にカバーガラスカートリッジを具備しており、該カバーガラスカートリッジは複数のカバーガラスを収容可能であり、該カバーガラスカートリッジがカバーガラスの放出点に近い少なくとも1つの凹面を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該柔軟なバッキングプレートがカバーガラスの寸法に概略等しい寸法を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該シーリング部材が導電性であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該シーリング部材が大地に接続されることを特徴とする請求項8記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 更に少なくとも1つのばね部材を具備しており、該ばね部材が該シーリング部材の底部に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該ばね部材が、形状が円錐形であることを特徴とする請求項10記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 更に少なくとも1つの一体型支持部を具備しており、該一体型支持部が該柔軟なバッキングプレートの該底部に取り付けられるか又はその1部であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 該一体型支持部が該柔軟なバッキングプレートの該底部の1つの側に平行であることを特徴とする請求項12記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 更にスライドを支持するためのスライド支持部を具備しており、該モーターが該スライド支持部上で該カバースリップグリッパーを動かすことを特徴とする請求項1記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- 更にフック部分を有する少なくとも1つのスペーサーアームを具備しており、該スペーサーアームの該フック部分が該カバースリップグリッパーの1つの側の下に位置付けられることを特徴とする請求項14記載のカバーガラスセレクター装置。
- カバーガラスのスタックのトップからカバーガラスを自動的に取り外す方法であるが、該カバーガラスがエッジを有する場合の該方法に於いて、該方法が、
該カバーガラスの周囲に沿ってシールを形成する過程と、そして
該カバーガラスを該カバーガラスの該スタックから分離するために該カバーガラスを均一に曲げる過程とを具備することを特徴とする該方法。 - 該シールを形成する過程が該カバーガラスをシーリング部材と接触させる過程を備えており、該シーリング部材が支持ブロックに取り付けられるか又はそれと一体でありそしてエラストマー性材料から成ることを特徴とする請求項16記載の方法。
- 該支持ブロックが真空源に接続された導管を含んでおり、該シールを形成する過程が更に真空を該シーリング部材に適用する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項17記載の方法。
- 該真空を適用する該過程が該カバーガラスを該シーリング部材に接触させる過程の後に行われることを特徴とする請求項18記載の方法。
- 該カバーガラスを均一に曲げる該過程が該カバーガラスを約一定の曲げ半径で曲げる過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項16記載の方法。
- 該カバーガラスを曲げる該過程が更に遠位の端部が相互に近付くよう該カバーガラスをその長い軸線に沿って曲げる過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項20記載の方法。
- 更に、該カバーガラスのスタックと該取り外されたカバーガラスとを相互に対し動かす過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項16記載の方法。
