Abstract
【解決手段】下記の特徴を有する銅箔。(a)表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある光沢面、(b)表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある粗面、および(c)L*a*b*表色系に準じて、12〜35の範囲にある粗面の明度L*値。更に、負極集電体に負極活物質を有する負極であって、前記負極集電体が前記銅箔を含む、負極に関する。前記負極は、たとえば、リチウムイオン二次電池に適用される。

(b)表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある粗面、および
(c)L*a*b*表色系に準じて、12〜35の範囲にある粗面の明度L*値。
銅箔の厚さは、約1μm、2μm、3μm、4μm、5μm、6μm、7μm、8μm、9μmまたは10μmから、約30μm、35μm、40μm、45μmまたは50μmまでであってもよく、約4μm、5μm、6μm、7μm、8μm、9μmまたは10μmから、約20μm、21μm、22μm、23μm、24μmまたは25μmまでであってもよく、または、約4μm、5μmまたは6μmから、約15μm、16μm、17μm、18μm、19μmまたは20μmまでであってもよい。同様に、銅箔は、約4μm、5μm、6μm、7μm、8μm、9μm、10μm、11μm、12μm、13μm、14μm、15μm、16μm、17μm、18μm、19μm、20μm、21μm、22μm、23μm、24μmまたは25μmの厚さになってもよい。
(a)硫酸銅電解質溶液を用意する工程、
(b)前記硫酸銅電解質溶液に電気化学反応を行い、前記の銅箔を得る工程、
(c)銅箔を剥離する(陰極ドラムから電解銅を分離する)工程、および
(d)銅箔を巻き取る工程。
前記塗布形態の負極活物質層31bは、負極集電体31aの上に、ケイ素の単体およびその化合物ならびにスズの単体およびその化合物から選ばれた少なくとも一つで製造される負極活物質の微細粒子と、必要に応じて、導体(たとえば、炭素系材料)、バインダー(たとえば、ポリイミドまたはポリフッ化ビニル)とから形成される。前記薄膜形態の負極活物質層31bは、負極集電体31aの上に、ケイ素の単体およびその化合物ならびにスズの単体およびその化合物から選ばれた少なくとも一つで製造される負極活物質層31bから形成される。
<電解銅箔の製造>
銅線を50wt%の硫酸水溶液に溶解させ、320g/Lの硫酸銅(CuSO4・5H2O)と100g/Lの硫酸とを含む硫酸銅電解質溶液を用意した。硫酸銅電解質溶液1リットル当たり、4.55mgのゼラチン(DV、Nippi社)、1.95mgのヒドロキシエチルセルロース(LC−400、DAICEL社)、3.12mgの3−メルカプト−1−プロパンスルホン酸ナトリウム(MPS、HOPAX社)、0.39mgのN,N’−ジエチルチオ尿素(Alfa Aesar(登録商標)、A Johnson Matthey社)および30mgの塩素イオンを添加した。その後に、液温50℃および電流密度50A/dm2で、厚さが6μm、8μmおよび20μmである電解銅箔を用意した。電解銅箔の粗度、引張強度、延伸率、および粗面の色は、下記の方法で測定され、表2に報告される。
たるみ:たるみは、スリッター機で目測された。前記スリッター機は、典型的に、銅箔の外観を確認し、かつ、特定の寸法にカットするために使用された。本実施例において、銅箔(幅:1,380mm)は、水平に固定された二つのローラー(距離:700mm)に供給された。その後に、ロールを回転して、銅箔に異なる張力を施した。銅箔は、定常状態においてたるみが存在するかを判定するために目視で検査され、結果に基づいて、下記表1に示すように評価した。
下記の表2に記載された本開示の銅箔#1〜15と比較銅箔#1〜12とを用意し、上記の実験の方法でそれらの特性を測定した。
<電解銅箔の塗布>
負極スラリーは、水を溶媒として用いて、下記の表3に記載された負極物質を73%(100gの負極物質、73gの水)の固液比率で、となるように混合して、準備した。
上記の実施例は、例示的に本開示の原理と効果を述べたものに過ぎず、本開示を限定するものではない。当業者は、本開示の趣旨および範囲から逸脱しない限り、上記の実施例に各種の変更と修正を施すことができる。従って、本開示の主張する権利範囲は、特許請求の範囲に記載される。本開示の効果および目的を損なわない限り、いずれも本開示の範囲に入る。

Claims (20)
- 表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある光沢面、および、
表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある粗面、を含み、
前記粗面の明度L*値はL*a*b*表色系に準じて12〜35の範囲にある、電解銅箔。 - 前記光沢面の表面粗度(Rz)が1.0〜1.9μmの範囲にある、請求項1に記載の電解銅箔。
- 前記粗面の表面粗度(Rz)が1.0〜1.9μmの範囲にある、請求項1または2に記載の電解銅箔。
- 前記電解銅箔の厚さが1〜50μmである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電解銅箔。
- 前記電解銅箔の厚さが4〜25μmである、請求項4に記載の電解銅箔。
- 前記電解銅箔の片面または両面に炭素質層をさらに有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電解銅箔。
- 製造直後の時間に対する引張強度(引張強度/時間)の変化で表す再結晶率が36.5kg/mm2/day未満である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電解銅箔。
- 製造直後の時間に対する引張強度(引張強度/時間)の変化で表す再結晶率が8〜20kg/mm2/dayである、請求項7に記載の電解銅箔。
- 引張強度が、製造後少なくとも48時間にわたって32kg/mm2以上に維持される、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の電解銅箔。
- L*a*b*表色系に準じて、前記粗面のa*値が4〜9の範囲にあり、前記粗面のb*値が2〜10の範囲にある、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の電解銅箔。
- (a)硫酸銅電解質溶液を用意する工程、
(b)硫酸銅電解質溶液に電気化学反応を行い、
(i)表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある光沢面、および、
(ii)表面粗度(Rz)が0.6〜1.9μmの範囲にある粗面、を含み、
前記粗面の明度L*値はL*a*b*表色系に準じて12〜35の範囲にある銅箔を得る工程、
(c)銅箔を剥離する工程、および、
(d)銅箔を巻き取る工程、
を含む、電解銅箔の製造方法。 - 前記光沢面の表面粗度(Rz)が1.0〜1.9μmの範囲にある、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記粗面の表面粗度(Rz)が1.0〜1.9μmの範囲にある、請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 前記電解銅箔の厚さが1〜50μmである、請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 負極集電体に負極活物質を有する負極であって、前記負極集電体が請求項1に記載の電解銅箔を含む、負極。
- 前記負極活物質が炭素系材料を含有する、請求項15に記載の負極。
- 前記炭素系材料は、非黒鉛化炭素、人造黒鉛、コークス、黒鉛、ガラス状カーボン、炭素繊維、活性炭およびカーボンブラックからなる群から選択される、請求項16に記載の負極。
- 正極、
リチウムイオンの吸収・脱着が可能な請求項15に記載の負極、
前記正極と前記負極の間に介在するセパレーター、および、
