Abstract
【解決手段】透光性材料からなり内部に放電ガスおよび水銀が封入されるとともに内部に落ち窪んだ空洞部(キャビティ5)と外部に突出した突起部4を有する電球形状のバルブ1と、前記バルブ1の空洞部5内に収められるカプラ18とからなり、前記カプラ18はPWM制御された高周波電流を通電される誘導コイル17と、誘導コイル17の内部に配されるフェライトコアを備え、誘導コイル17により形成される電磁界の作用により放電ガスを励起発光させる無電極放電ランプにおいて、放電ガスとしてクリプトンを封入した。

Description
図1は本発明の実施形態1の詳細な構成を示す断面図である。本実施形態の無電極放電ランプは、バルブ1とカプラ18とで構成される。図1におけるバルブ1とカプラ18を分離した状態を図2に示す。
次に、本発明の実施形態2を説明する。ここで使用しているランプは先の実施形態と類似形状で、バルブ1の径がR=95mm、気密容器14内に封入されているZn−Hg量が総量で略10mgである。
図9は、実施形態1,2に記載したランプを備えた照明器具を示す。20は管灯線、21は点灯回路、22は反射板、23は前面パネル、24はランプである。

Claims (3)
- 透光性材料からなり内部に放電ガスおよび水銀が封入されるとともに内部に落ち窪んだ空洞部と外部に突出した突起部を有する電球形状のバルブと、前記バルブの空洞部内に収められるカプラとからなり、前記カプラはPWM制御された高周波電流を通電される誘導コイルと、誘導コイルの内部に配されるフェライトコアを備え、誘導コイルにより形成される電磁界の作用により放電ガスを励起発光させる無電極放電ランプにおいて、放電ガスとしてクリプトンを封入したことを特徴とする無電極放電ランプ。
- クリプトンおよび他の放電ガスのガス圧をP(Pa)、原子量をM、バルブ内径をr(mm)として、{(P×M)の総和}×r2 で算出される値が、65〜250×106 の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ。
- 請求項1または2に記載の無電極放電ランプと、その誘導コイルにPWM制御された高周波電流を流す点灯回路とを備えたことを特徴とする照明器具。
