- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 改質供給原料を受け入れ、かつ、板質触媒を収容する改質チャンバであっ て、水素を含む改質生成物流を生ずる改質チャンバ;および、 その改質流を受け取り、かつ、その改質流を副生物流と水素生成物流とに分割 する水素精製モジュールを含み、その精製モジュールが複数のスタック平担素子 を含み、それらスタック素子の少なくとも1つが水素透過性の膜を支持し、それ らスタック平担素子が、それら平担素子がスタックされ、前記改質生成物流をそ の膜の第1の側へと搬送する複数のマニフォールドを画定する時、それらの間で 協動する開口を含み、前記副生物流が前記膜の第1の側から前記モジュールの副 生物導出口へと流れ、前記水素生成物流が前記膜の第2の側から前記モジュール の水素生成物導出口へと流れるスチームリホーマー。 2. 前記スチームリホーマーが、さらに、燃焼燃料を受け入れ、かつ、前記改 質のための熱エネルギーを生ずる燃焼チャンバを含み、その燃焼チャンバが前記 改質チャンバ内にあり、かつ、前記改質チャンバに熱的に結合されているが、流 体としては、前記改質プロセスから孤立している、請求の範囲第1項に記載のス チームリホーマー。 3. 前記スチームリホーマーが、さらに、燃焼領域を画定するおおよそ管状の 構造体を含み、そのおおよそ管状の構造体が、燃焼燃料を受け入れ、かつ、前記 おおよそ管状の構造体を前記改質チャンバ内部の少なくとも一部に配置すること によって、前記スチーム改質プロセスと熱的に結合されている、請求の範囲第1 項に記載のスチームリホーマー。 4. 前記管状の構造体が二重壁管状構造体である、請求の範囲第3項に記載の ズチームリホーマー。 5. 前記スチームリホーマーが、さらに、最初に前記供給原料を受け入れ、か つ、前記改質チャンバ用途のために前記供給原料を気化する気化チャンバを含み 、前記気化チャンバが、前記気化チャンバを介して前記供給原料を搬送する導管 を含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載のスチームリホーマー。 6. 水素透過性膜を支持をする前記スタックされた素子の少なくとも1つが、 超音波溶接によって前記透過性の膜に結合されたフレーム部分を含む、請求の範 囲第1項に記載のスチームリホーマー。 7. 前記水素精製モジュールが、水素透過性の膜を支持する前記スタック素子 の少なくとも2つを含み、前記副生物流が、直列および並列流配置の少なくとも 1つで前記少なくとも2つの透過性膜構造体に提供される、請求の範囲第1項に 記載のスチームリホーマー。 8. 前記水素透過性膜がパラジウムおよびパラジウム合金の少なくとも1つを 含む水素透過性箔を含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載のスチームリホーマー。 9. 水素透過性構造体を製造する方法であって、その方法が、 水素透過性箔を用意し; フレーム部材を用意し; 前記水素透過性箔を前記フレームに超音波溶接によって結合させて、第1の実 質的にガス気密なシールを達成し; 構造体部材を用意し; 前記構造体部材を前記フレーム部材に結合させて、第2の実質的にガス気密な シールを達成し、前記第1および第2の実質的にガス気密のシールを介して結合 した前記箔、前記フレーム部材および前記構造体部材が前記透過性の箔の第1の 側のチャンバおよび前記透過性箔の第2の側の第2のチャンバを確定し、それに よって、前記第1のチャンバ内に導入される水素ガスが前記水素透過性箔を通過 する; 各工程を含む方法。 10. 前記水素透過性箔を用意する工程が、パラジウムおよびパラジウム合金 の少なくとも1つを提供することを含む、請求の範囲第9項に記載の方法。 11. 前記フレーム部材が、銅、銅合金、ニッケルおよびニッケル合金の1つ を含む、請求の範囲第9項に記載の方法。 12. 前記水素透過性箔がパラジウムおよびパラジウム合金の1つを含み、前 記フレーム部材が、銅、銅合金、ニッケルおよびニッケル合金の1つを含む、請 求の範囲第9項に記載の方法。 13. 前記第2の実質的にガス気密なシールが、液相を含む溶接法によって達 成される、請求の範囲第9項に記載の方法。 14. 前記水素透過性箔が、本質的に、 第1の部分35重量%〜45重量%の銅; 第2の部分200ppm未満の炭素; 第3の部分200ppm未満の酸素;および、 第4の部分パラジウム; からなる、請求の範囲第9項に記載の方法。 15. 前記第4の部分が、前記箔の残りの部分である、請求の範囲第14項に 記載の方法。 16. 前記箔が、本質的に、 前記第1の部分39.5重量%〜40.5重量%の銅; 前記第2の部分100ppm未満の炭素;および、 前記第3の部分100ppm未満の酸素; からなる、請求の範囲第15項に記載の方法。 17. 前記第4の部分が、前記箔の残りの部分である、請求の範囲第16項に 記載の方法。 18. 以下の官能基、ヒドロキシル、アルデヒド、エーテル、ケトンおよびカ ルボン酸の1種以上を含有する水混和性有機化合物を含む水素形成供給原料であ り、その有機化合物が、100℃における蒸気圧<100torrを有し;少なくと も1モル当量の水がその有機化合物に混合されて、20℃で液体の形の均質な溶 液を形成する供給原料。 19. 前記有機化合物が、ポリヒドロキシアルコール;ポリエーテル;および 、ポリヒドロキシアルコールのオリゴマー類の1つである、請求の範囲第18項 に記載の供給原料。 20. 前記有機化合物が、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ジ( エチレングリコール)、ジ(プロピレングリコール)およびグルセロールの1つ である、請求の範囲第18項に記載の供給原料。
