Claims (14)
- 燃料源から燃料電池用の水素を生成するための改質器であって、
少なくとも燃料を受入れて前記燃料を熱に変換するように構成された燃焼領域を有し、前記熱は、前記燃焼領域の周りに環状に配置された改質領域に供給され、前記燃焼領域と前記改質領域は、分離壁によって分離され、
前記分離壁の一方の側の前記燃焼領域は、燃料燃焼反応を引起す触媒で被覆された構造化触媒支持部を含み、
前記改質領域は、少なくとも燃料を受入れて、主に水素を含む改質油を生成するように構成され、
前記分離壁の改質器側は、更に、燃料改質反応を引起す触媒で被覆された構造化触媒支持部を含む、改質器。 - 前記燃焼領域及び前記改質領域の前記構造化触媒支持部は、波形の鉄クロム合金シートで形成される、請求項1に記載の改質器。
- 前記燃焼領域の波形鉄クロム合金シートは、パラジウム又は白金金属、及びこれらの混合物の分散金属相を含む高表面積アルミナ膜で被覆される、請求項2に記載の改質器。
- 前記改質領域の波形鉄クロム合金シートは、ルテニウム、ニッケル、白金、ロジウム及びこれらの混合物、又は卑金属の分散金属相を含む高表面積アルミナ膜で被覆される、請求項2に記載の改質器。
- 燃料源から水素を生成するための改質器であって、
少なくとも燃料を燃料源から受入れて改質油を生成するように構成された改質領域を有し、前記改質油は、主に水素を含み、前記改質領域の周りに環状に配置され且つ分離壁によって分離された燃焼領域から熱を受入れ、
前記燃焼領域は、前記燃料源と同じ燃料源又はそれと別の燃料源から燃料を受入れて、熱を前記改質器に供給するように構成され、
前記燃焼領域は、燃料燃焼反応を引起すことが可能な触媒で被覆された構造化触媒支持部を有し、
前記分離壁の改質領域は、燃料改質反応を引起すことが可能な触媒を含み、前記触媒は、鉄クロム合金シート上に被覆された薄膜の形態をなす、改質器。 - 前記燃焼領域及び前記改質領域の構造化触媒支持部は、波形鉄クロム合金シートで作製される、請求項5に記載の改質器。
- 前記燃焼領域の波形鉄クロム合金シートは、パラジウム又は白金金属、及びこれらの混合物、或いは卑金属の分散金属相を含む高表面積アルミナ膜で被覆される、請求項5に記載の改質器。
- 前記改質領域の波形鉄クロム合金シートは、ルテニウム、ニッケル、白金、ロジウム及びこれらの混合物の分散金属相を含む高表面積アルミナ膜で被覆される、請求項5に記載の改質器。
- 改質すべき蒸気燃料混合物を改質領域に供給して水素を生成し、燃焼すべき燃料空気混合物を燃焼領域に供給して熱を改質器に供給する燃料処理システムに使用される統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリであって、
複数の同心状の管状部分を有し、前記管の内壁は、鉄クロム合金シート上の薄膜の形態で分散され且つ燃焼反応を引起すことが可能な触媒で被覆され、前記管の外壁は、鉄クロム合金シート上に被覆された薄膜の形態をなし且つ改質反応を引起すことが可能な触媒に接触し、
更に、前記管状部分を取り囲み且つ管板に結合された円筒壁を有し、前記円筒壁は、改質反応剤を供給して改質生成物を除去する流路を有し、
更に、前記管板の一方に接続された第1の反応器頭部を有し、前記第1の反応器頭部は、燃焼供給物を供給する流路を有し、
更に、前記管板の他方に接続された第2の反応器頭部を有し、前記第2の反応器頭部は、燃焼生成物を除去する流路を有し、
更に、前記第1の反応器頭部の内部に位置する流れ分配器を有し、前記流れ分配器は、前記第1の反応器頭部の前記流路に接続される、統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリ。 - 改質すべき蒸気燃料混合物を改質領域に供給して水素を生成し、燃焼すべき燃料空気混合物を燃焼領域に供給して熱を改質器に供給する燃料処理システムに使用される統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリであって、
複数の矩形板を有し、前記矩形板の各々の一方の壁は、鉄クロム合金シート上に薄膜の形態で分散され且つ改質反応を引起すことが可能な触媒に接触し、前記矩形板の各々の他方の壁は、鉄クロム合金シート上に被覆された薄膜の形態をなし且つ改質反応を引起すことが可能な触媒に接触し、
更に、前記燃焼触媒を含む燃焼領域を有し、前記燃焼領域は、前記改質触媒を含む改質領域と交互に配置され、前記燃焼領域と前記改質領域は、前記矩形板によって分離され、側板により、燃焼ガスを前記燃焼領域に差し向け、改質ガスを前記改質領域に差し向け、これらの2つの流れの混合を許さず、
更に、前記燃焼領域に接続された第1の反応器頭部を有し、前記第1の反応器頭部は、燃焼供給物を供給する流路を有し、
更に、前記燃焼領域に接続された第2の反応器頭部を有し、前記第2の反応器頭部は、燃焼ガスを除去する流路を有し、
更に、前記改質領域に接続された第3の反応器頭部を有し、前記第3の反応器頭部は、改質供給物を供給する流路を有し、
更に、前記改質領域に接続された第4の反応器頭部を有し、前記第4の反応器頭部は、改質ガスを除去する流路を有する、統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリ。 - 更に、燃焼ガスのS字形流れを形成するように配置された波形鉄クロム合金シート上に堆積された燃焼触媒を有する、請求項10に記載の統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリ。
- 改質ガスのU字形流れを形成するように配置された改質領域を有する、請求項10に記載の統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリ。
- 前記燃焼触媒は、Pt及びPd、並びにこれらの混合物を含む、請求項10に記載の統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリ。
- 前記改質触媒は、Ru又はNi又はPt又はこれらの混合物を含む、請求項10に記載の統合型蒸気改質器/燃焼器アセンブリ。
