Abstract

1533120 Adjustable door frame MARLEY EXTRUSIONS Ltd 2 Dec 1975 [5 Dec 1974] 49503/75 Heading E1J A door frame which can be fitted to walls (36) of different thicknesses comprises a plastics door stop member 1 and mating member 2 each having a flange 23 with a projection 24 each overlapping a face of the wall; each member has a tongue 6, 9 and a flange 8, 10 forming channels 7, 11; the members mate together with the tongues engaged in the channels. The tongues may be toothed on one or both faces. Adjusting 14 and fixing 13, 20 screws may pass through holes provided in bevels 3 and 18 and groove 4 may receive a sealing strip 22 which also conceals the screw heads 13, 14. Corner joints are formed by inserting L shaped connecting pieces into mitre-cut members at 30. [GB1533120A]
