Abstract

1537024 Doors BRITISH STEEL CORP 28 Oct 1975 [8 Nov 1974] 3826/78 Divided out of 1537023 Heading E1J A door comprises a steel rim 5 interengaged with a pair 3, 4 of spaced steel sheets located on opposite sides of the rim to define a cavity, a core 6 of foamed in situ plastics material at least partially filling the cavity, the rim being provided with a pair of channels 15, 16 situated in and extending parallelwise around the rim, one channel 15 having a flexible strip 22 located therein and protruding above the rim to provide a sealing element. Each face 3, 4 has a flange 7, 8 inwardly turned and engaging the end 19 of the rim and slots 13 are provided for hinges 2.
