1411397 Sealing windows; glazing CHEMISCHE INDUSTRIE POLYPLATSIC BV 22 Dec 1972 [29 Dec 1971] 59446<SP>,</SP>72 Headings E1J and E1R A vehicle window in e.g. a caravan is sealec by a channel sectioned elastomeric element 6 engaging the edge of the aperture in the caravan's wall 2 2 and having a bead 7 co-operating with a portion of the window pane 1 which, when the window is closed, is parallel to the wall 2, the periphery of the window pane being enclosed by a channel sectioned metal trim strip 4 hinged on one side to the wall 2. The window may be single, Fig. 1 (not shown) or double glazed. The window pane may be of plastics and be secured in the trim strip by pins 9.
