Abstract

1522634 Glazing strip SCHLEGEL (UK) Ltd 27 April 1976 [28 April 1975] 17516/75 Heading E1R A glazing strip for use in forming double glazing comprises a portion 3 of U-shaped cross-section of rigid material having ribs 13 to receive a glazing panel, a web 7 and a sealing portion 19 of resiliently deformable material to contact an existing frame; the strip is formed by a single extrusion process using plastics material of differing hardness. A flange 5 may be provided between the web and the seal. The strip may be cut into lengths and mitred to form a frame surrounding a glazing panel, the seal portion may then be fitted against an existing glazed frame.
