849,440. Submarine cargo craft. RONDOT, J. A. J. Nov. 10 1958 [Nov. 8, 1957], No. 36016/58. Classes 113 and 114. A submarine vessel for the transportation of goods comprises a light, flexible hull 1 having driving means (propeller 7 actuated by engine 8 in engine room 10) mounted at the front thereof and adapted to force water in divergent streams 11 from the longitudinal axis of the vessel when the vessel is submerged in water and the driving means is rotated. The submarine vessels 29, 30, 31 in Fig. 5 are driven by electric motors supplied with electrical energy via cables 26, 27, 28 from a surface ship 25 acting as a power station.
