Abstract

826,268. Cigarette dispensers. LEE, H. C., and LEE, S. M. June 26, 1957 [Jan. 3, 1957], No. 305/57. Class 18. [Also in Group VI] A cigarette dispensing device comprises a cylindrical body 10 open at one end and enclosing a number of concentric tubular chambers 16 each fitted with a cigarette ejector spring 19. A cover 21 with a delivery aperture 23 is rotatably mounted on the open end so that its aperture can be aligned with successive tubes to permit ejection of the cigarettes. A flanged ring 14 formed with apertures 15 from which depend the tubes 16 seats on a shoulder 13 of the body 10, being provided with slots for engagement with ribs 24 on the cover 21 when fitting or removing it. A flange 22 of the cover seats on the ring 14, and a removable ashtray 28 may fit within the cover. An inner wall 26 may be provided.
