Abstract
799,248. Rollers. CASABLANCAS HIGH DRAFT CO., Ltd. Oct. 11, 1956 [June 22, 1956], No. 19447/56. Class 42 (2). [Also in Group IX] In a dual-boss top roller of the kind having the bosses mounted on a common arbor, together with an intermediate relatively rotatable sleeve member, and having end pivots which may support the side walls of apron guide cradles, the arbor is in the form of a tube-like member which rotatably carries the intermediate sleeve member and on which the bosses are locked against relative rotation, the pivots being mounted on opposite ends of a carrier member which extends through the arbor and is rotatable therein. As shown, a tubular arbor 1 carries a rotatable sleeve 2 and two roller bosses 4, each boss being locked on the arbor by a pin 6. A carrier member 9 is located within the arbor 1 and has secured to each end a pivot block 11.
