Abstract
789,062. Agricultural implements. OKSANEN, A. Jan. 20, 1955, No. 31178/56. Divided out of 789,061. Class 6(1). A harrow comprises discs 23 secured to axles 5 which are mounted in a frame 2 at an angle to the direction of travel of the implement, the discs having secured thereto a plurality of blades or tines 6 which are each preferably twisted about a longitudinal axis in the manner of a propeller blade and are formed with a pressed out rib 26. As shown, the positions of the axles 5 with respect to the frame 2 are adjustable. The implement is provided with a drawbar coupling as disclosed in Specification 789,061 for connection to a tractor having a hydraulic lift. A cover 8 is provided and may be formed as a box in which weights may be placed. The blades or tines 6 are attached to the discs 23 by bolts or rivets so that damaged blades may be replaced.
