Abstract
1,149,802. Agricultural implements. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. 20 June, 1967 [8 July, 1966], No. 28520/67. Heading A1B. A soil cultivating implement comprises a plurality of mechanically driven rotatable soil cultivating members 42 and a plurality of tines 46 each tine being located between two adjacent members 42. As shown each member 42 is formed as a pair from a single piece of material and is mounted on a square shaft 41. A hood 39 is provided and pivoted to which is a smoothing member 54 which is adjustable. The tines 46 are pivotably mounted and are adjustable by means of a handle 47. The shaft 41 is driven from a gearbox 10 connected to the power shaft of a tractor. The working depth is adjusted by means of skids 64. In a modification the hood and member 54 are omitted and the tines 46 are rigidly attached to a frame member.
