Abstract

779,045. Agricultural implements. KOSKENMAKI, F. F. Oct. 17, 1955 [Oct. 18, 1954], No. 29480/55. Class 6(1). An agricultural implement comprises tines 11 mounted on a frame 7 which is connected to a frame 1 by means of springs 9 so that in use the tines 11 are capable of a reciprocating movement in the direction of travel of the implement. Tines 10 are adjustably mounted on the frame 1 which is connected to a tractor hydraulic lifting mechanism by levers 16, 17 and provided with a box 19 for weights. A smoothing bar 22 is mounted on links 23 at the front of the frame 1 and is adjusted by a lever 21. A drag bar 28 is provided at the rear of the implement and is connected to the frame 1 by chains 25. The position and tension of the springs 9 may be adjusted. Additional tines may be provided and the arrangement of the tines together with their shape may be varied to suit the ground conditions. The smoothing bar 20 and drag bar 28 may be omitted.
