Abstract
813,809. Agricultural implements. WARNOCK & SON Ltd., J. July 12, 1957 [April 12, 1956], No.11087/56. Class 6(1). A tractor drawn machine for use in preparing seed beds comprises transverse angle members 15 mounted on a frame 13 provided with members 11 for attachment to the three point linkage 29, 33 of the tractor. The members 15 are arranged so that the lower faces of the members are forwardly and upwardly inclined. The members 15 and frame 13 may be formed separately from the members 11 so that the frame may be reversed and secured to the members 11. Adjustable tines may be fitted on the front of the frame to break up soil compacted by the tractor wheels. An adjustable fin may be mounted at the rear of the implement to reduce the tendency to drift on sloping ground. The ends of the members 15 may be joined by metal strips to reduce lateral spillage of soil. The implement may be weighted by placing a box of stones on the frame. The implement may be used as a transporter for a chain harrow which could be loaded on the frame.
