782,463. Heating liquids by electricity. SOC. DES. BRULEURS THERMEX. May 9, 1955 [June 28, 1954], No. 13365/55. Class 39(3) A liquid, e.g. fuel oil, is electrically heated by passing it through a tube forming the secondary coil of a transformer, the tube being removable or' replaceable without the need for disassembling the core of the transformer. As shown, the secondary winding comprises a tube 8 which is clamped, by members 10, 11 to the core assembly 1, removal of these members and slight deformation of the tube 8, which may be of a copper base alloy, permitting the tube to be removed. In Fig. 2, only the tube and its securing means are shown.
