Abstract
140,705. Goldstone, M. H. Sept. 19, 1919. Transformers.-An induction coil d for electro-medical purposes is slidably mounted on a core or cores b rigidly secured to a sheet-metal base a, the coil being normally maintained on a non-magnetic part b<1> of the core by a spring f. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the core b is secured to a lug a<2> pressed up from the base, and the coil is held in a jaw e<1> carried by a handle e. The handle e also carries a bracket e<3> which encircles a graduated rod c secured to the lug a<2>. A contact-breaker k is mounted on a lug a<5> pressed up from the base. In a modification, Fig. 4, two coils d, operated by a single handle, are provided.
