778,007. Fuel injectors. ABBEY, A. (American Bosch Arma Corporation). May 19, 1955, No. 14515/55. Class 7 (3). A fuel injector comprises an unguided spring- loaded valve 17 closing an injection orifice 16 in a plate 15, the nozzle body being turned over at 24 to retain the plate in position against a locating shoulder 23. The upper end of the spring 21 abuts against a spring clip 20 and the lower end rests on a replaceable shim 22. A filter 13 is provided in the valve chamber 14.
