Abstract

732,831. Moulds for concrete blocks. BARCLAY, H. F. April 8, 1953 [Jan. 11, 1952], No. 903/52. Class 87 (2). A mould for moulding small quantities of concrete bricks or blocks comprises a plurality of hinged plates 1, at least one corner being separable by withdrawing pin 3 from lugs 2. Handles 9 are provided for removing the mould, the walls being made of 18 gauge steel so that the handles cause them to flex during removal. Vertical partitions 5 as of synthetic resin in grooves 4 in opposing walls are of such a thickness, e.g. 3/16 inch that the blocks remain separated on removal of the mould.
